  1. How about a metal cage around the cat, insulate it from the exhaust itself and wire it up to a large capacitor that could be charged by the battery to deliver a shock to anyone touching it?
  2. Hi Angie, are you able to tell if there are any manufacturer's identification marks or stickers on the towbar? Then Google them and see if they do tow hooks / look on eBay.
  3. Got my first Honda, a 2004 CRV EX 2.0 VTEC a few weeks ago, as a daily runaround for winter while I sort out my Alfa Romeo 147. Heard some good things about them, did a fair bit of research and found mine - test drove and bought it immediately. I'm really chuffed with the build quality and how well thought-out it is. I've replaced the old non-working satnav unit with a double DIN Android unit, and given it a service (spark plugs, air filter, oil filter, engine oil, gearbox and rear diff fluids, coolant change to type 2) and also replaced the Vtec solenoid valve gasket/filter as it was gunked up and giving error code P2159 every time I floored it. Also replaced the rear diff damper as it was worn and just rattling around in the bracket - didn't want it falling out and going through someone's windscreen! Anyway, glad to be here, always been a big fan of forums!
