  1. Hi Alan

I have always used Rock 5w 30w fully synthetic oil in my CRV as its recommended by Honda, If you are unsure as  my Honda is a Petrol and I believe your CRV is a Diesel it might be worth giving the Main Honda Dealer a quick call and ask if there is a difference, I really don't know, sorry Alan.

  2. Hi Guys & Gals

    Thought you might like this.

A Male Patient recovering from an operation in Hospital called over to the Female Nurse on her Nightly Rounds and asked Her,

" Nurse can you please look and tell me if my Testicles are Black , She lifted the bedsheets and after foraging around for a while ,said to the Man " No Sir your Testicles are not Black " He then replied,

That was very Nice Nurse but what I really needed to know was " ARE MY TEST RESULTS BACK ".

  3. Hi Mark

I believe you mean Engine Oil and not Diesel Oil .

The Engine Oil I use in my 2008 Mk3 CRV Exec 1997cc is Rock Oil 5w-30w advanced Fully Synthetic Engine Oil which as it says on the instructions is recommended for Honda Engines. .

  4. I can remember only too well the Third One Alan especially from my days in the Navy but too polite to mention it on here for the innocent Members. 😇

Cant recollect the other comments Alan but am sure you had the best time when you were young and things were so much better probably than what is happening today when you could compliment a young Lady for looking nice without being accused of a crime. and you could walk hand in hand with your young Daughter ( Mine is 12 years old ) without being looked at and being thought of as some kind of Pervert, I must admit this attitude from some ignorant people has caused a number of strong comments to the other person and some very heated words from me as her Dad to put them in the picture in no uncertain terms.

People should really think before voicing their opinions.

    End of Sermon

  5. I really have np exact idea Alan if different Cities operate on different ULEZ Regulatory Systems which regard to the amount of Emissions which are produced, but maybe it might be wise to check it out just in case you drive into another ULEZ Zone and get clobbered with a Fine which you may not be aware you are liable for until it lands on your front door mat. then you would have all the hasell of contesting it.

  6. Hi Alan, That dosen't seem feasible or to make sense that if your Honda is Not ULEZ Compliant in Birmingham and Bristol it would seem to follow that it is not compliant in all Cities as I believe the rules and regulations are Government based and all the same. I might be wrong on this ,will have to check it out,

  7. Just checked my 2008 mK3 CRV on the Government Website to find out if it is Dreaded ULEZ Compliant, Thankfully it is, Its worth checking Folks because even if you do not go to London, They have proposed that it is going to be rolled out across other Counties and Cities in the near future, another Money Spinner from the Motorist, 🤑 Worth checking out now just put your Reg Number in to find out if yours is compliant.

  8. It might be a possible break in the cable John , Not an easy one to find but go through the cable from the supply to the Reversing Camera and once you have establish this, then its a matter of digging a bit deeper into the cause, a call to your local Honda Dealer might be a good idea, Sorry John I cant be more helpful, its not a regular fault with Honda Reversing Cameras.

Good Luck Anyway with it, Let other Members know how you get on with this always valuable information for others.

    Cheers John
