  5. Hi Bazzer RN 1,

re. your reply about engine oil, would  the Rock Oil 5w-30w advanced Fully Synthetic Engine Oi   be  better for me to use  in my 2005 CR-V i-CTDi ( 2.2 engine)

  6. In my time there was lots of banter everywhere bit like a carry on filmstless, you gave it and took it. Girls got wolf whistled, bottom pinched, they also got helped on with their coats, car door opened, other doors held open and seats given up on the bus, train etc. You had a bit of fun but also had respect for each other. I can understand you getting peed off. Common sense ain't that common
  7. No not got round to it yet keep meaning to do it, I've noted the green light still comes on if you press the button would this still come on if the relay was at fault??
  8. Isn't 5w20 the reconmened oil for the CRV that's what I use to top up with. think you can use 20w30 at a push, If you go to Halfords they can tell you by the reg
  9. Sun, Sea and I'm too old to remember what the other was, Brazzer RN 1 will know!! You all enjoy yourself I'll like after the shop!! My old dad use to use his hanky as a sun hat - tie a knot at each corner and off you go..... I can remember as a kid having a knitted looking/feeling swimming trunks, ok till they go wet, and when you came out of the water the crotch was full of wet sand and round your knees.... My mother used to put Baby Oil (steady it's my mother) on as sun tanning oil - it was all the rage! Then when we were all red as beetroot we were covered in Calamine lotion that turned into a white powder.... Happy Days
  10. Lets telling it as it is, The most dangerous thing in the world are old men, they have nothing to lose and don't care what they say !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 Fair winds and Following seas - Bazzer RN 1🚢😎

    HOT BIRD

    Hot Bird!!
  14. Agree JRA I remember when diesel was what we should all have and diesel was always cheap than petrol . Now we all have to love electric, where are all the old batteries going when they are knackered but by than we will have a new brunch of idiots cocking things up because they are all the same in it for themsevles if it was us running thinks like they do we'd be in clink. Years ago we had statemen running the country for the good of the country all we have now are career politicans, think I'm right in saying that Camron, Clegg and Miliband had never done anything (and there's more) else. The end deal is its our money the use they don't pay for anything.
  15. Bazzer RN 1 I have no plans to enter any cities any time soon, I'll stay in 60's and 70's hahahahah
  16. JRA your post sums up the way we are treated by our lords and masters, they seem to forget that they work for us (or should) instead it seems they can get away with any thing with no real recall and after 5, 10 or so years walk awalk without a care.
  17. yep mine too, clean but a little on the edge and the girls come out on top !!
  18. With all the doom and gloom that our lords and master are creating, what happen to Statemen (or women) that lead this country?? Hope you can have a laugh if this opens. Alan One for the girls!.mp4
  19. It did seem odd to me, i could only think that those areas had a lower acceptances???? Likely misunderstood it, in short my old girl is dirty without a differant exhaust and engine. Alan
  20. Interesting just checked my 18 year old CRV and seems I would have to pay £8 in Birmingham and Bristol but clear on all others, checked on the Goverment website. AS I live in Fenland and have no plans to venture into the drug and gang riddled cities I won't worry too much yet,,,,,,drugs and gangs ....we have plenty here as well. Alan
  21. Hi LostLancastrin, I've been a member since July, think it's a great place for help and information for all things Honda and more. I'm a CRV 2005 owner best car I've had. Alan
  22. An old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life. “A fight is going on inside me,” he said to the boy. “It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One is evil – he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.” He continued, “The other is good – he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. The same fight is going on inside you – and inside every other person, too.” The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, “Which wolf will win?” The old Cherokee simply replied, “The one you feed.”
  23. The Traffic lights, my parents bought them back from a hoilday in Spain or Italy I would have been around 20 ish had them fitted in a Hillman Minx Est, a friend who worked at a garage fitted wired them up.
  24. Remember................ trips away and collecting those little flags that you stuck on the back windows to show where you had been ..... the waving hand (and nodding dog) that you had at the back window...... anyone have the traffic lights hanging in the back window - went red when you braked, amber when you had your foot off the brake but not moving and of course green when the accelerator......cost me £1.10/- to have wired in (£1.50p for you younger members!!) 6ft flexible aerials.....
  25. Top Man, thanks Bazzer I'll have a look, I checked out Ebay and there was a good number to pick from that after putting my reg in came up, Will certainly print the fuse and relay list off.
