  1. Hi, I would tend to say stick with a Honda dealer as they generally have access to the latest technology and service bulletins. My last car was serviced by an independent purely for convenience and the explanation of any work needed, being a short walk from home and the fact that when you rang them you got access to the small team. It's a bugbear with me that using main dealers you get passed from pillar to post and have to endure those messages stating that they value your custom but are are experiencing a high number of calls....end of rant. Having said that, after several attempts by various garages to resolve an issue with the previous car, I bit the bullet and took it to a main dealer. They explained the diagnostic charges and what the costs of any subsequent work may be, the diagnostic cost was eyewatering for the, short, time they anticipated they needed. However 30 minutes of work and the car was up and running like new, with only the diagnostic to pay for as they identified and fixed a poor connection on the ecu.
  2. I run a 2022 crv hybrid, the only issue so far has been a flat battery after leaving the car standing for a couple of weeks. The battery is rather small as it is only for computer management, not the usual heavy duty battery. If used constantly I cannot see it being a problem. I invested in a small booster pack that has saved the day twice now. It is small enough to store in the centre console. Apart from that issue there is nothing else that springs to mind.
  3. I chased a similar problem on a Vauxhall Vectra sri estate. Replaced suspension parts, drive shafts, bearings, discs and callipers. After spending a small fortune, a tyre fitter noticed that there were two buckled alloy wheels, nearside front and rear, the front being the worst. Bought 2 new alloys, fitted and the vibration issue was solved. Might be worth a look? Hope you get it sorted.
  4. Hi, I have a 2022 crv hybrid with the same tyres. It has covered 26000 miles and they are now certainly noisy but are about to be replaced. Prior to purchasing this car I test drove another crv hybrid and it was noticeably quieter over the same road at the similar speeds. Just wish I had made a note of the tyres that were fitted. I dont think its typical as the cars do seem to have good road noise supression. I have used Davanti tyres on other cars in the past and they ran quiet and had good wear rates. I've been struggling to fettle the audio when using Google maps and attempting to listen to a DAB broadcast, it reverts back to the Honda navigation (Garmin) which does not have the best features. Its just a bugbear and no doubt it can be overcome, it'll keep me amused for a while. LIke you I am impressed with the space, comfort and quality. There have been a couple of incidents where after being left parked up for a couple of weeks the vehicle battery did not have enough charge to let me start the car, but had enough to fire up the lights inside and out, illuminate the dashboard and sound the chimes and that was annoying and inconvenient.
  5. I've had the same issue with a 2021 hybrid crv. Left sitting for 5 days, required a jump start. 2nd occasion it had been left for 3 days same issue, battery dead. I've invested in a jumper pack to leave in the car. Its annoying when there is enough power to unlock the doors, interior lights and headlights power up but car refuses to even try to start.
