  1. well I guess I will answer my own post. On all of our v6 hondas 3.0 3.5 3.7 4.0 they used the covers on the end of the cyclnder heads for holding the cams in position. Sometimes the wear prematurelly and contribut to thrust being out of alignement, and it has a habit of taking out the cam position sensor. You can check it pretty easily with a feeler gauger on the end where the caps go under the valve cover. FYI By the way I am a 58 year old certified mechanic of over 40 years.
  2. I am sure you all know about the honda v6 camshaft problems with premature wearing. I have accord with a 3.0 in it and both cams are out of spec. Recently new cams are no longer manufactured. Can I use the cams out of the 3.5?
