Hi I purchased a 2009 crv 2.2 cdti. 118000 miles on the clock with service history. Clutch was replaced 2 years ago. I have a problem when i change gear from 1st to 2nd and 3rd to 2nd, the car shudders, then goes, every other gear is fine and clutch doesnt seem to slip. The rear diff has been flushed out and refilled as it needed it. Any ideas greatly appreciated.

Did they replace the Dual Mass Flywheel at the same time?

 

Also, is there any noises associated with the shuddering?

I have just seen this reply, there is no mention of dual mass flywheel been replaced. I think there plays my problem 

Quite possibly it is a worn DMF then
