mario Posted January 3, 2020 Posted January 3, 2020 Hi Folks I own a mk1 honda crv 2000 that will not start I've got a spark at the plugs and there is fuel getting through I have now discovered that there is no compression on any of the cylinders any suggestions Thanks in advance Mario
Trevor Posted January 6, 2020 Posted January 6, 2020 If the engine turns over at a fast speed (with no resistance from the cylinders pumping) then it sounds like the timing belt/chain has broken. If you remove the oil filler cap and if possible see if the camshaft is turning when someone is turning the engine over on the key and if it is not then it is no longer connected to the crankshaft and its game over Let us know what you find
