😃I tried repeatably to lock my car with an door still open.having realised I closed the door the car then went dead.

The brake pedal went hard ,start button just flashed (car is 1966 automatic) car would not lock.No response from

door button or key fob.After 40 mins car came to life again and had no trouble since.Had l confused the computer?

Did the ECU reset its self.

Not sure what happened there but would keep an eye on it in the future and if it reoccurs then maybe a visit to the local dealership is necessary.

It does sound like you managed to confused the vehicles' electronics along the way but if it is now okay then maybe not worry about it.

 

p.s. is your Jazz really a 1966 model? 🙂
