I fitted a new AC compressor and refilled with gas. The AC does not appear to hae been working for some years and the original compressor pump bearing had started to rattle.

 

The clutch does not engage and I suspect the relay. Problem is that I can not make out the symbols on the inside of the underhood fusebox cover and can't identify the correct relay. An any member assist.

Hi Kenb....welcome to the Forum

 

I think this is the relay and is available on eBay for around £4.

When fitted the engine management usually displays a lamp and the A/C system goes offline which needs a scan tool to reset.
