Hi Everyone

I am Australian living in Sweden and have no forums up here and wanted to ask some advice

I have a 2015 CR-V Auto 9 speed diesel,about 40000kms on the clock

I have called a number of dealers here with no one knowing an answer

The issue is the vehicle wont go into park by pushing the park button, only when you turn the motor off

Have tried pushing brakes harder disconnecting the battery ,moving gears manually etc

Has anyone else experienced this and if so what was the issue

Many thanks for any answers

Hi.....welcome to the Forum

It sounds like a default setting which only allows the Park selection when the engine is off.

A dealer may be able to alter this setting for different country requirements but sounds like it is doing what it should be doing.

many thanks for the reply

yes it will go into park once the motor is turned of but standard is you can also put it into park while the motor is running using the button I Have been doing it for 2 years but it now rarely does it,of course extended warranty just finished so im looking for a cheap way to sort it iff possible

It may be a software glitch, hoping that simple
