Hi,first post here after owning an FRV for 7 years. All of a sudden when trying to open the door with fob the locks click open and shut again within a second.

If quick enough you can open the door if timed right but that's it and the rest of the car stays shut,even locking you in the car until forcing the little lock part towards door to get out.

 

Any ideas what the problem is? It did stop for a day or two then came back again

Not entirely sure what this could be but would recommend taking it to an auto-electrician who can resolve this issue.

Bit concerned that you may not be able to enter or more importantly exit the car if it fails completely
