Tetleysmooth Posted April 27, 2021 Posted April 27, 2021 When I bought my CR-V, the rear wash did not deliver water to the rear screen. The wiper works fine. I set about it one day and pulled the screenwash through by suction. I reconnected the washer pipe and it produced a lovely jet down the rear screen. I tried it a few times in the following days and it was great. However, with the dry spell we're having at the moment, I haven't had to use the rear wash. I tried it again a few days ago as the rear screen was a bit dusty, and nothing, just an occasional drip. Can anyone give me an idea why the screenwash keeps disappearing and will not pump up again please? It's very annoying rather than life threatening. Thanks in advance.
Trevor Posted May 20, 2021 Posted May 20, 2021 I would be tempted to try suctioning through more water and run the reservoir down before refilling with fresh screenwash and use more frequently to keep things moving. somtimes hot but not boiling water assists this process
