True enough, the range will diminish with cooler weather which affects the batteries.

Agreed it should be clearly stated that this range is dependent on so many factors

I’ve watched NHK documentaries on Honda and the E, and can say the logic of the City car and range was a great concept - on paper. These cars work if you live and work in a compact congested city. It was clear that Honda have realised we all don’t do that and range anxiety is limiting the market greatly for the E. They know it, and Honda is working on that.

Hi.

my eny1 standard/ elegance was purchased 26/2/24 is stated to have a range of 256 miles on multiple places including official honda website.

lets say due to lights, brakes and other important features including the media/ dashboards, you get 200 miles…..

why does mine get a max range of 140 miles, on the dash, at 100%? Despite that this number of max miles stated… its more like 100!!

is this the same as anyone else's?

Is anyone else having these problems? Specifically the short distance?

Thanks in advance.

J

Is it computing the distance based on your last driving of the vehicle?

Heater/AC, lights, wipers, seated heats Etc. phone charging...

Carry out an Eco drive, steadily with all devices off, figure should rise.

One thing to turn off is the wireless charging pad, high energy user.

I got my e:Ny1 mid January from then until around April/May the best range was 140 miles (including a trip from Glasgow to Inverness) this is due low temperatures. With the exception of AC/heater everything else is powered off the 12V battery.

During a recent trip from Glasgow and Inverness in September range 246 miles.

Everything electric I.e 12-14 volts is powered off the under bonnet battery the 400 volt battery underfloor provides charge for this battery and drive motor only.
