My 2009 Honda Accord 2,2 i-DTEC with 165,000km (100,000 miles) stalled during low speed and has not started ever since. Engine is cranking but won’t start.

The car was at Honda facility where at first, thought something was wrong with the automatic transmission or ECU. Later said fuel pump is damaged and will have to be replaced along with the injectors. As the estimated costs where way too high, I decided to tow the car to my indie mechanic.

He said the pump is working, removed the injectors, had them checked and found there was nothing wrong with them either. Still, the car will not start. Lastly, he thought something was wrong with the EGR valve, checked it and found nothing wrong either.

Is there anyone, please, who could help? Anyone who had a similar issue?

Thanks is advance
