October 17, 20223 yr If its running through a proper Cigar Lighter adapter then it will be fine, USB will also work but see your apprehension with using higher voltage, but its also about the current being correct, Cigar Lighter adapter will charge your phone quicker I believe
March 15, 20232 yr I use the cigar lighter to charge my smart phone with the correct usb lead, no problems and charges quickly BAZZER RN 1
