Trevor Posted December 14, 2022 Posted December 14, 2022 We are seeing quite a few posts on the subject of Honda economy (or lack of it) Obviously this depends on how the where the car is driven (e.g. extra-urban, around town, etc) and also whether it has a petrol, hybrid or diesel engine, E5 versus E10 petrol, manual or automatic gearbox. Post up your MPG and vehicle details and see if there is a trend occurring or whether it is satisfactory
Grandfunk Pete Posted December 28, 2022 Posted December 28, 2022 I have a CRV 2016 1.6 I-DTEC EX Manual Transmission. On local runs normally 35 - 38 mpg & on longer distances 45 - 55 mpg, although it does sometimes depend on where I purchase the B5 diesel ? 1
BAZZER RN 1 Posted March 10, 2023 Posted March 10, 2023 Mine is a 2008 1997cc AWD Manual Petrol Exec and on a work journey to Eastbourne last week I averaged 35-37 MPG The problem is we never know how accurate the Speedometer /Mileage Meter is on some cars but working on the fuel consumption I think thats about right without thrashing it and driving at a steady 60 mph where applicable due to heavy traffic and the inevitable Road Works on this route. Bodgit Posted June 14, 2023 Posted June 14, 2023 Min is a 2016 1.6d ex manual. Mine seems to average out at 47-48mpg with most of than on M roads. With the stupid 20mph in my local area it plummets to about 35mpg. 1
