Please can anyone help. On my car are 225/60 r18 100h m+s tyres and on the car it says the pressure should be 30 front and back but on the tyre it says 40psi. Please can anyone let me know what I should set the tyres at. I do some caravan towing so will that make a difference. Thank you.

Hi Bazzer. The info on the plate on the car says 30 front and 33 back but that is for 17 inch tyres and these are 18 and say 40psi. I have put in 38 all round but I am so confused as to what is right.

 

Hi Mark, in my opinion 38 psi does sound high, but to be completely sure I would give the Honda Main Dealer Service Manager a call they should be able to tell you the correct pressure straight away. they are usually very helpful whenever I have cause to contact them. Steve the Service Manager at Honda Horizon Poole Dorset is very good.
