I have put a spring assister on both sides of my rear suspension to help stop the bouncing when towing our caravan. It has helped a little but what I want to know is can I add another set to stiffen it more and hopefully cure the problem even though it will be quite stiff when not towing. Thanks for your help. Please can someone let me know what oil I should put in my car. I have heard that 5w30 is the right one but I dont know if that is semi synthetic or fully synthetic. Thanks in advance.

Having towed the van now the inserts work well. There is still a bit of movement up and down but it is far better than it was. Thank you again for the advice.

I have had this problem and it was the clutch pedal servo. I had it replaced and it now feels like it should do and with no creaks.

The inserts were easy to fit with a bit of silicon spray we just need a holiday to see how it is with the van attached.

Hi all sorry to ask another question but we have a leak under the car every time we use the fan in the car on air con or not and there is a pool of liquid under the car when we have parked up. I have checked all the fluids that I can and taken the car to the garage but he cant see anything. I thought it might be a leaking air con but it also happens with just the blower on. Thank you again for any advice.

Hi all. We have a Honda crv 2007 2.2 diesel car and also a caravan. When we are towing the caravan the rear suspension feels soft even though I am within towing weights. Is there a way I can stiffen the suspension without it costing a fortune. Thanks in advance.

Hi Ben I had the same problem so pulled out the Bluetooth connector. I dont use the Bluetooth so will not be replacing it. Its a lot of money to replace it.

I had a similar problem with my crv and the problem was caused by the Bluetooth unit draining the battery. I dont know if it is that but it might be worth looking on you tube to see where it is.

All seems to be working OK now. I dont have Bluetooth but I didnt use it anyway but the car starts first time now so problem sorted. Thank you all again for your help.

I have looked on you tube and listened to what has been said on here and found the Bluetooth module. I have now pulled the plug connector and will let you know if the problem is fixed. Thank you all for the help.

Is there a way to disconnect the blue tooth function on my car to see if it is that causing the battery drain.

Hello all. I have a question that is causing me problems. My 2007 Honda crv 2.2cdti is not holding charge. I can take it on a long run during the day and the next morning it wont start. I then charge the battery for around 10 mins and all OK again. I have had the battery and alternator checked and they are both in great condition but something is draining the battery. Please can anyone suggest what it might be. Thank you.

Hi Bazzer. The info on the plate on the car says 30 front and 33 back but that is for 17 inch tyres and these are 18 and say 40psi. I have put in 38 all round but I am so confused as to what is right.

Please can anyone help. On my car are 225/60 r18 100h m+s tyres and on the car it says the pressure should be 30 front and back but on the tyre it says 40psi. Please can anyone let me know what I should set the tyres at. I do some caravan towing so will that make a difference. Thank you.

Hi Trevor we have had the break pads redone as we tow a caravan but other than that its so far so good.
