Got notification of new Garmin update?

But downloaded it and took to car but it said it was the same. Came back to the Garmin App and it showed any update was in fact a Europe related which does not interest me. I updated about a year ago anyway. Should I not bother as only interested in UK travelling? Software version of Garmin Navigator on USB is 3.45. Thanks.

It doesn't do any harm to update periodically as it also updates firmware and keeps you in the system
