HR-V electric folding mirror problem / Sat nav update

Hi there,

just purchased my mums 2016 Honda HR-V EX, 25,000 miles.

It appears there is a problem with the electric folding door mirrors, they seem to have a total mind of their own. They fold in and out on their own accord whilst driving? Any ideas what’s causing this and how to remedy the problem? 
Any suggestions or ideas on how I get the Sat nav system updated please, and do I have to go to my local dealer to have the system updated? Any idea on cost?
