CRV_Lover Posted March 13 Share Posted March 13 I am Nigel (north of 50), I live in Reading and I am the proud owner of a 3rd gen 2.0L petrol 07 CRV. I am a keen diy-er and I love to 'tinker'. I had to replace my engine a year ago, which I did myself with a little help (muscle) from a friend. It is my intention to rebuild the old engine as a spare or resale as project when the days get longer. My only problem is I can't get a service manual for the R20A2 engine installed in my car. I bought a service manual (pdf) for the correct vehicle, but that engine was not in it. I'd be thankful for a little help/advice. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

CRV_Lover Posted May 29 Author Share Posted May 29 I recently stripped the engine as I intend to rebuild it. The piston rings has seized to two of the pistons. Apologies for the delay, only just seen this. Still have not obtained a service manual. All the ones I have found/bought have the 2.2L petrol which has 2 x camshafts, the R20A2 only has one.
