Convert from 4WD to 2WD

Hello , I want to convert my 4WD automatic to 2WD . It seems easy just remove the prop shaft between the gearbox and rear axle ?

Has anyone done this ? If so any helpful tips would be appreciated .

I have done that before on a Nissan X-Trail and worked fine. Just keep the inner and outer driveshaft joints where they are and take the shaft out from it
