Hi I've looked at a nice crv 2.2 diesel on the mot history it says rusty front sub frame but not structurally affected is this something to worry about if so how big off a job to change it

Hi everyone - I bought a Honda Freed (Spike) Japanese import a couple of weeks back which I'm really pleased with. There are though, loads of bits and pieces that I could do with understanding on the car but obviously the supplied owner manual is Japanese. Does anyone have any idea please how I can get hold of one in English ? Many thanks Gary

Hi All. I'm not new to honda , or classic cars, but this looks about the best fit! We have just acquired a 89 Accord Aerodeck, which I'm sure plenty is shared with the prelude. Between my partner and I, we have 20 cars! There are a good trench of rovers in there, which a lot of them are a honda in drag. I've also had a 99 legend. A prelude or legend coupe are on the shopping list. Parts look to be fun and games for the 80s stuff. I got around the headlamps easy enough ( acclaim ones) but suspension looks a nightmare to get spares for. Any tips or good sources ? Regards Mark

Got my first Honda, a 2004 CRV EX 2.0 VTEC a few weeks ago, as a daily runaround for winter while I sort out my Alfa Romeo 147. Heard some good things about them, did a fair bit of research and found mine - test drove and bought it immediately. I'm really chuffed with the build quality and how well thought-out it is. I've replaced the old non-working satnav unit with a double DIN Android unit, and given it a service (spark plugs, air filter, oil filter, engine oil, gearbox and rear diff fluids, coolant change to type 2) and also replaced the Vtec solenoid valve gasket/filter as it was gunked up and giving error code P2159 every time I floored it. Hi everyone. Thanks for the “In” I have a problem with the flat screen on my head unit. The right hand end of the touch screen doesn’t work. Honda dealer in Guildford did a factory reset - - fail. I’m told it is near impossible to fit an after market head unit, and I’ve been quoted £2000 for a new unit. HELP PLEASE!

Hello. I am new to this forum but not to forums. I joined HOC a few months ago after purchasing my CB750, a USA import requiring complete restoration. I have no problem wielding a spanner and stripping a bike to individual parts and building it back up. My problem is painting the decorative bits, tank and side panels, so i after a local company to take care of it for me. But i am struggling to find somebody. I live just outside York and would welcome any recommendations from my fellow members. The bike is up and running and now i am working on improvements. I am after the original paint colour and livery for the year. Any help would be apprecia…
