HELP. I am not a member but am seeking help to get an English manual for the infotainment system in my Honda City (Thailand). It is mostly easy to operate but there are some aspects that I just can't seem to resolve - need a manual. I have searched the net for hours and hours for 4 years and my dealer can't help. Now I have retired here I want to get full use of the system. It's an older model (image at https://www.wapcar.my/news/deal-breaker-we-love-the-honda-jazz-but-we-just-cant-live-with-the-infotainment-system-1866 ). Any pointers, especially to a soft copy, would be gratefully received. Not worried if I have to pay. Thanks and Regards, Ian Breach

Hi Guys Following on from my Topic regarding new tyres for my 2008 Mk3 Honda CRV Exec 4 + 4. I have finally decided to bite the bullet and have four new Royal Black Sport 225/60R18 Tyres fitted this week. Its a minefield trying to choose which tyres are suitable for your Vehicle, how you want to use them and Tyre Value as everyone appears to have a different preference on the choice of tyre they want. I chose the Royal Black Sport as its suits the purpose and requirements that I personally need for my motoring journeys. They are a good priced tyre at £ 81.98 each including vat, fitting and balancing and I was convinced after seeing the Google revi…

Hi, I recently bought a 1990 Civic EF sedan 1.4 dual carb. Im 19 years old so this is the first car I've ever bought myself, I love the EF sedans and am so please with my new car. Great place to start to get to know about working on cars and such. I am really struggling to get insurance though. I got one day insurance to get it back home when i bought it, but now i'm properly looking into getting insurance for it, it's proving very difficult. It's either a quote so high I cant afford it or it just gets declined :( not sure why as I am not going to be driving this daily as I have a van for work, and its a 30 year old 1.4 so it's slow. If anyone …

My gen 9 civic 1.6 DTEC is in need of a few brake related parts. Local Honda dealership price and availability of brake caliper seal kits £70 per axel and ordered from Brussels. Jeeze there's only 1 ring seal and 1 expanding boot seal per caliper. I questioned if this was the complete caliper or just the seals. Appears the calipers are near £500 per corner. Halfords and the likes will only supply complete calipers, looking to increase their profits. I'm going to require discs, pads and brake fluid can anyone advise a cheap reliable one stop shop or do I need to search tinternet. Love my Honda though its not without design problems. Cant see speedometer as steering w…

Hello all you Honda lovers out there. My beautiful Civic was stolen from what I thought was a quiet, safe place to park it. I was wrong. Last week my car was taken, because apparently it has become a sought after collector’s car and worth some money. I bought it 28 years ago and it was my pride and joy so I’m choked. If anyone out there sees a new to the area Electric Blue Civic Esi Reg. L767 FMO please will you let me know, although I realise it may have new plates and and chassis no. by now, or may even be on a boat to China so I’m told, But I have to try because the police have shown no interest at all, and this is my chance. Thank you for reading. All…

  12. Turns out the Stream is a rare beast. I hit a deer and the grille shattered. There are very few on the market and they are £500+ from a franchised dealer. Does anyone have a grille in their shed or at the back of their garage they want to flog? Its a 2004 model.

The Average Family Car. Research commissioned by Honda in line with the launch of the all-new HR-V e:HEV The average car will see 30 day trips, 2,496 songs played - and 24 spillages in the typical year. A study of 2,000 motorists revealed the average vehicle will cover off 62 miles per week – that’s 3,224 annually – and see three bouts of car sickness while doing so. 17. Hi everybody, Today I would like to share something about installing 15mm+20mm BONOSS Forged Active Cooling Wheel Spacers for my Honda Civic 10th(FC) with you. My Honda Civic 10th(FC): Chassis model: X (FC) PCD: 5*114.3 mm CB: 64.1 mm Thread: M12*1.5 mm I got them on eBay, took me several days to receive them. I can't wait to install them on my vehicle. But before you choose the right spacers, you need to measure the thickness data that fit the wheels: Cleaning the wheel hub: Much better after cleaning. Now let's get to the installation part: Since I get the right data, I can install them easily! Let's t…

  18. We are seeing quite a few posts on the subject of Honda economy (or lack of it) Obviously this depends on how the where the car is driven (e.g. extra-urban, around town, etc) and also whether it has a petrol, hybrid or diesel engine, E5 versus E10 petrol, manual or automatic gearbox. Post up your MPG and vehicle details and see if there is a trend occurring or whether it is satisfactory

Hi everybody. New on here and looking for a bit of advice. 2010 Civic Type S 2.2. Had air con problems for a while, various garages have regassed, changed a couple of valves, but recently it's never been anywhere near effective except in short bursts. I'm told it's not losing gas. Latest diagnosis I've been given is that it may be a problem in the 'air mix control motor circuit', meaning dashboard out for a start, then I fear probably more hit and miss remedies. Given the age and value of the car (135k miles) it may be time to say goodbye - a shame as it's the best car we've ever had and otherwise an awesome vehicle for us. Hoping somebody can say there's some…

  20. Honda is to recall around 78,000 CR-V models in the UK after a possible fire risk was established. A gap between the car’s window switch prompted fear that liquid could cause a short circuit. Honda warns that it would even “catch fire” in extreme circumstances. In a statement, a Honda spokesperson said: “In 2012 Butyl tape was applied to the power window master switch (PWMS) as part of a market safety recall to prevent liquid exposure to the inside of the PWMS. “However a gap could exist between the applied Butyl tape and PWMS case, liquid could then accumulate in that gap and over time this could lead to liquid entering into the PWMS. “Onc…

  22. Hi. I've recently purchased a 2007 FRV automatic petrol and at around 60mph from the off side front A pillar area I am getting like a buzzing/wind noise from around that area. I've removed the trim and driven it again and it is still there so not a trim issue. It must be speed related as it does not happen below that speed on all types of road surfaces. Is there any issues with the windscreen seal or A pillar window seal. It sounds like it's by the air bag area. Any ideas would be great. Many thanks and stay safe.

  23. Hi All I live in Spain and we have a Mk1 CRV with 285,000km on the clock. Its Automatic and seems to work okay... although I am not 100% confident with it yet. Its had a major service and the head gasket done, along with cambelt and fan bets etc. I notice the revs go quite low at times when at idle and sometimes it feels like it is holding back, I am convinced there are a few sensors that are on their way out but as yet it is not showing any fault codes. In January I need to drive the car back to England and then back to Spain, in all about 3000 miles. Ive done the drive many times in old transit vans and land rovers but never in anything as n…
