Hey, I used to have a 53plate accord 2l i-vetch sport and it had a fab sound system as standard. Someone told me it was bose, however there were no branding tags to suggest that.. I now have a civic type s and its pants in comparison. Does anyone know what the audio equipment was used in the accord? I've tried to google but cant find anything concrete. I'd like to replicate as close as possible into the civic. Tia

Hello I'm thinking about getting a code reader / scanner. Can anyone offer any advice about what to get or what to look for, or perhaps recommend a particular model? I don't want to spend a fortune but would be interested to know what options there are and what you get for paying a bit more?

The all-new Honda Civic has been engineered to ensure that its e:HEV (hybrid electric vehicle) powertrain, steering and suspension deliver the engaging levels of performance, dynamic response and feedback that have always been central to the Civic’s appeal. The result is a car that blends a rewarding driving experience with highly competitive efficiency and emissions. Available later in 2022, the 11th generation Civic is the final mainstream Honda model to be electrified, following the CR-V, Honda e, Jazz, Jazz Crosstar, and HR-V. The car will feature the most advanced iteration of the brand’s award-winning e:HEV full-hybrid powertrain. This combines a power-d…

Further to my first post earlier today, I've been looking at the above, and wondered if any members have used it, and if they thought it was a worthwhile purchase. I'm specifically interested in replacing the rear left wheel or hub bearing, and tracing and curing a power steering fluid leak. I've seen some info on U-tube. which is helpful, but I prefere a hard copy that I can have with me whilst working on the car. Tia, John

The key objective for comfortable, economical, and safe driving is ‘smoothness’: the absence of sudden or rapid changes in speed or direction. Smooth driving will also reduce the loading and wear on a car’s suspension, brakes, tyres, and drive train. The car’s intelligent sensing functions can be very helpful, but they are far from perfect and left to themselves they will not always provide a smooth drive. This then, is the intelligent driver’s challenge: to anticipate when the sensing functions will not be helpful and cancel/reset them as appropriate. In free-flowing traffic, use ACC in Normal/Econ mode*, set the target speed at what would be…

Hi, Just joined this forum. I've been a long time owner of all things Honda. I have 2 bikes 3 cars at the moment and I'm considering letting one go. But I'm not sure if I should. It's a classic Honda Accord Aerodeck 2.0 ex Manual with only 34,000 genuine miles. Should I keep it? modify it? Or just sell it on to someone who could love it that bit more?

Hi all, Im new here :). I am currently looking at a Honda Civic SE Executive, everything looks ok apart from the GOV website report that it has an outstanding recall on it and to contact local honda dealer. I have contacted them and they said that they can't give me any details on the recall due to GDPR!!. I've searched about and its recommended not to buy a vehicle with a recall. . is there any where I can get the recall information from? Also, would antone be able to explain why its not recommended to buy with outstanding recall if the dealership will be fixing it for free?

A little Tip for dried out rubber gromets or window seals, a good size can of Halfords Silicone Spray for £ 4.99 does the trick and worth giving rubber seals a good spray in this hot weather when the rubber does tend to dry out and could deteriorate more quickly and also a good lubricant for other car parts except of course Brake parts or Steering assembly which should be common sense not to use any lubricant on. other than that, follow the instructions on the can and get rid of those nasty squeaks as well on the car. Best Wishes BAZZER RN 1

Dishonourable, insane HONDA? Judge for yourself... My 2019 Jazz developed a fault with selecting gears after 2.5K miles of use from new. Under warranty my local Honda garage attempted repairs. They attempted repairs for the same fault on six separate occasions. The car was evaluated each time by Hondas technicians, judged to be faulty and taken in by the garage for investigation and repair. On at least two separate occasions replacement parts were fitted to the vehicle including a new sleeve set synchronizer, case comp transmission, case comp clutch, bearings, oil seals etc. The repairs were billed to Honda UK (Warranty) and totalled £2,316.92. All the six times the …

Hi All, Had an expensive week , on Monday booked in for MOT It passed no problem £ 50.00, on Wednesday noticed the ABS & VAS Lights on the dash were on all the time took it to the Garage they did a check and found out the Rear Wheel Sensor needed replacing ,this was done for £ 94.00, then the ABS Lights came on again and a shuddering when braking, this was found to be caused by a worn Rear Wheel Bearing, so back to the Garage again had this replaced and fixed £ 160.00 , so a weeks bill of £ 304.00 + vat . a lot of dosh but at least it done, the steering is 100% better and no Christmas lights on the Dash, apparently all of these faults according to the Dealer are…
