Honda is threatening quit production in Japan…seriously now guys, come over here…i’ll trade my garden space for a new CR-Z

Hi all. I'm new to car forums but I thought I would give it a go, I have a problem my CRV 2008, that mechanic can't cure. I keep getting an intermittent vibration coming up through the steering wheel, sometimes it lasts for a second or two, other times it can last as much as twenty seconds.. Sometimes this is so bad the windscreen shakes as well. I happens all the time but it is more noticeable while on cruise control at between 38 and 40mph. Has anybody heard of this or knows something about it. I would be very grateful for your help. Thank you.

Is anyone else seeing a problem with the clock on their Honda? it seems like there is an issue on cars where the clock is linked to the Satnav across a broad range of models/years. I bought a new ENY1 in March 2024. I knew that the total miles at 100% was rubbish (about 250) but I didn't expect my surprise on the first cold day today I charged it overnight last night when the air temperature was -3 deg C. When I started the car this morning it said 100% charged. It also said 138 miles to empty I rang the Honda garage where I bought it from and they said I could expect a drop in cold weather as it didn't have a heat converter Can this be correct.? They did offer to have a look at to see if the computer needed a memory dump etc Thanks everyone Philip

Hi, looking for a bit of advice, I have a 2012 honda accord, the car recently wouldn't start, got the car started after a battery reset but the dash it full of faults, the car is stuck in limp mode, tried a replacement ECU & instrument cluster but still the same, been told could be gearbox pressure sensor, does this sound right, any help would be appreciated, thanks

I picked up my first ever Honda two weeks ago - 2016 1.6 idtec EX. I have noticed that there is a clutch judder when pulling away or if moving slowly in traffic. My last 4 cars have been auto boxes so I first thought it may be my driving style but after a few days I got my son to try it and he too felt that the clutch didn’t feel right. I took it back to the dealer (main Honda franchise) who I bought it from and said I thought there was an issue with the clutch. They tested it and said there was a “slight” judder on clutch engagement but it was “within acceptable limits”. wondered if any one has a problem with handbrake . i have 04plate have had new calipers, cable and shoes but does not hold very well on hills ajusted several times at the garage. when parked on a slope it sort of walks on stops when brick placed behind . any idea what problem os.

I'm sure there's a thread re. this somewhere but I can't find it! I've got a Next Base 402G but I'm concerned re. best route down the A pillar - from memory there's an Air Bag warning on the trim at the top. So is it safe to simply tuck the cable in down the 'screen edge? If not, then where? Thanks in advance.

I'm having some trouble with the driver side door lock on my 2003 Civic sedan. When I lock the car using the power door lock, it is quite difficult to get the car key to unlock the driver's side door. The dealer said they could replace the lock cylinder for about $90.00. But I wonder if the problem isn't in the power door locking mechanism. Anybody had similar problems? Suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hey fellas, nice to meet you all. So, I'm having a bit of an issue here and would like to have the opinion of all of you. If anyone owns a CB125R please do help me with this. For the past few days I have been trying to register my new Bike, my issue is, the model as per Honda website is CB 125 R, but, that is not true. When I checked the documents that I have received from Honda it states as CBF 125 NA. The issue is, when filling up the model in any website or by phone, the only models they have are CBF 125 N Abs (13bhp) or CB 125 R (13bhp). Can anyone help my daughter. She has a 2002 Honda Stream 2.0 SE Sport. She needs parts for her exhaust. Has anyone got a diagram of the exhaust system so we can work out which bit to get. Seems to be broken behind silencer in front of rear axle. Thanks
