Hi,first post here after owning an FRV for 7 years. All of a sudden when trying to open the door with fob the locks click open and shut again within a second. If quick enough you can open the door if timed right but that's it and the rest of the car stays shut,even locking you in the car until forcing the little lock part towards door to get out. Any ideas what the problem is? It did stop for a day or two then came back again

my Speedo stopped working and wondered if people have ideas? I believe that the sensor PWR-013 may be at fault and wondered it’s position? Also is there a fuse that also associated to the speedo?

I have a crack in my windscreen, I have tried to go through my insurance and their glass care company are saying that the glass is discontinued for the 2005 model and they can’t source it, where do I go from here please?

Hi, does anybody have any experience of this? my blowers have stopped working. I have checked all the fuses and the resister. All is working. Does anybody have any suggestions? thanks

The left hand side of the silver tailgate trim that sits above the registration plate has been coming loose on the left hand side and now I'm worried that the right hand side might be coming loose as well. What is the best way to secure it? I'm not sure if something has snapped or just weakened, my guess is that whatever clips are used to hold it in place are either broken or no longer effective. My mechanic tried to glue it - I'm not sure what type of glue he used - but the glue came off within a week.

Howzit gents , Muhammed from South Africa with a 1.8lt Frv with 210000kms on the clock, time has come to replace my clutch and obviously checking out the various options . South Africa is a bit rough with Oem parts pricing so looking aftermarket, can anybody help with the correct Sachs clutch to buy

My 2005 FR-V has a leak where water is getting into the footwell. I saw a YouTube video that showed water getting in where a gland on a cable had come out but my problem seems to be the strip on the right hand side of the windshield that seals it. I can see water coming in through the door seal just below the little triangle shaped window is. I pulled the carpet up and left it like that for now!! Hi there, Just wondering if anyone has replaced the front middle seatbelt. Mine is damaged. Just wondering if the seat has to be removed to do so. Or can it slide in front the front if the bottom seat is removed Many thanks Steve

Hello all. I have a Honda FRV 2.2 CDTI Sport. 56 plate. I saw a video recently of a CRV and a civic where the owners attach a relay / module to the driver side Electric window/side mirror control panel. He was then able to fold /unfold the side mirrors via the remote key fob and also the Windows with the key fob (Global open /closure). Can this be done with the FRV? THANKS IN ADVANCE.

Hi all excited to be joining the frv club I previously had a Picasso xsara bit has finally given up on me. Man I love that car but want something even more reliable now which is why Honda are my go to. Trouble is with all the different reviews can anyone tell me which is best 1.7 1.8 2.2 etc diesel/petrol I need the boot space and there's 3 of us. I like the idea of my 5 year old in the cock pit too. It will mainly be city driving for work purposes and we go away mostly every other weekend. Thank you to all that respond!

Do I need to remove the whole underdash fuse box in order to replace the indicator relay? Can anyone help?

Hi guys, I've been having trouble with fitting a ball joint to a new suspension arm on the NSF of my 1.8 ES. I bought the part from Eurocarparts as I needed it quickly due to being driving to Wales the next day. However after some serious play in the steering, I thought it was a cheap and nasty ball joint so bought another. Same thing again.....I then looked at the wheel bearing and hub, and upon removal of the knuckle and the suspension arm (while they were still connected by the ball joint), I realise that the ball joint is too small for the bore hole in the suspension arm! Hi Folks, hopfully this topic hasn't been covered, My 06' FRV Rear Hatch Struts (this part 04741-SJD-000) are fairly squeeky and have lost a bit of their lifting power. My question is has anyone replaced their rear hatch struts? And specifically can you just replace the strut or do I need to replace the fixing brackets too? Thanks in advance 👍🏻

Hi there! I have a bit of a weird problem where I could really use some advice. The rear left signal light of my 2005 FR-V stopped working after towing our caravan for a while. I think it was OK until we unhitched the caravan. Situation right now: Right signal: normal Left signal: only front & mirror (fast flashing) Hazard lights: normal (also rear left) Locking: normal (three blinks, also rear left) Trailer lights: no singnal ligths left & right, rearlights and brake light normal. The indicator relay went on my car so i had it replaced and since the new one has been fitted my abs light comes on when I brake, the headlight light on the dash comes on when I brake if I have my lights on the brake lights are on all the time and my glow plug light is flashing. Hi All, recently found myself a gem of an example of a FR-V with super low miles BUT it has a leak in the aircon system. If anyone knows anyone who specialises in either Honda or AC please drop a message with their details. I had it re-gassed and in 2 weeks its leaked out and no more cold air. My mobile mechanic says most of the time it is either the compressor or condenser. Could also leak from faulty o-rings in the hoses. car has done 53 thousand miles. Thank you

Hi there. I need to replace the 2nd clutch pressure switch in my F-RV (2009), but can't find any reference to this part anywhere on the web. I can find clutch pressure switches for just about every other Honda model, but not the F-RV. Does anyone know where I can get the part number - or is the same component used in say the C-RV?
