Jazz 2008 to 2015

On two occasions recently I have put the accelerator down and nothing seemed to happen. Then it picks up after about 5 seconds. Is this a fault I should report? Honda Jazz 1.3 I-VTEC EX NAVI Petrol CVT 5Dr Hatch. Advice appreciated.

Anyone had a problem where car turns over but it just doesn't start completely? Only intermittent normally worse on cold mornings. New battery and new sensor helped initially but not working again after a few weeks. Garage not sure what to do so booked in at honda garage.

Hello All, I've just bought a used Jazz with 9.5k miles on the clock and one owner, essentially a new car. But I find it's a bit breathless and has to be revved really hard, so it always seems to be straining. Is this a feature of the 1.3S ...or the Jazz generally ??? Any advice welcome Thanks George

Hi trying to service my 2012 Jazz 1.4 i-vtec, when agent inputs reg it shows as manual when is automatic, need to know what oil to put in auto gearbox & how much, also being quoted £75 for spark plugs which seems expensive, are they special? Any help much appreciated Regards Rob.

Hi, New to the forum. I purchased a mk 3 EX navi after having engine issues with a mk 1 es. The mk1 would feel like it wanted to stall until the engine warmed up. It was an auto. It would pull do it several times until warmed up. Like the mk3 but find the ride harsh and to much cabin noise, compared to my previous Kia Ceed. Can the suspension be softened or would l be better to buy a mk 4 which has a far more compliment ride.

I purchased a spacesaver wheel for the wifes 2012 Jazz which had 15" wheels. We have just changed the wifes Jazz for a 2018 model which has 16" wheels. The salesman at the Honda garage insisted I didn't have to buy a new spare wheel as the one purchased for the earlier vehicle would fit the new one. Can this be right as the wheel sizes are different?

Hi, I seem to!have blown a fuse for the reversing lights whilst changing a bulb but now the instrument panel doesn’t illuminate and none of the warning lights when you switch the ignition on. The car starts and runs fine. I can only assume that the fuse feeds both circuits? The owner’s manual is confusing, there seems to be fuse boxes all over the place!......HELP !,,,

Jazz 2013 model, double tap the key fob to lock car, indicator lights flash three times, then any given time after that, the alarm goes off, & will continue to do so until i remotely turn off by keyfob, checked my dashboard and all doors & boot & bonnet shown as closed, checked push switches on all doors on main body, non are sticking open, any ideas?

Hello, I have a lovely 2006 CR-V Executive, which I bought when it was less than a year old. I am now interested in a 2016 Jazz, which is for sale at a Honda dealer about an hour away. Problem is I can book it for a test drive, but I can't be shown around it with a sales person because of Covid restrictions. They say I can drive it out of the garage and then phone them with any questions! I bought a Honda Jazz hybrid in September, and am very pleased with it. But whenever there is an overnight hard frost, the clock loses about 20+ minutes. Several nights were frosty recently, and it lost 50 minutes. The service manager at the dealership hasn’t heard of this happening, an I wonder if you have, or can offer any advice. There don’t seem to be any other battery- related effects. I don’t have satnav, and don’t use internet or smartphone connections, but my screen is set to show the date and time.

Hi Guys (and Ladies) I’ve got a 65 plate Jazz EX and yesterday the audio touch screen wouldn’t get past the Honda logo on the boot screen. The weather lately has been really wet but I’ve not had any warning lights come up. As the original battery is 5 years old now I popped into my local dealer to see if I needed a new battery but they wanted to charge me £150 for a diagnostic check which I feel is exorbitant. Hi We have a 59 reg 2009/2010 Honda Jazz. Literally never gone wrong. I’ve replaced the tyres and the battery 2 years ago. Today it died. It doesn’t appear to be the battery as we tried to jump start it. I’m calling the AA out tomorrow but they may charge £99 to come out. Only strange thing that’s happened is both our keys have been playing up, I thought mine was running out of battery or something. But I didn’t know my partners was also doing the same. Any suggestions before calling AA out as money is a bit tight at the moment? Thanks in advance G

I have recently purchased a 2016 plate 1.3 jazz and battery gone flat after being stood for 3 days. Can’t seem to find a replacement battery anywhere. Anybody had this problem ?

Is it possible to increase the loudness of turn indicator signal on my 2016 Jazz by adding a Piezo buzzer or similar? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you. IanH

Recently had strange fishy smell when using the air con on my 2015 Jazz CVT. The Honda service desk at my dealership says it needs regassing but the air con works fine so this can’t be necessary. Has anyone else experienced anything similar?

Hi, I’m the proud. Owner of a Honda jazz , 17 plate. I bought it to allow my 2year old lab in the boot. I previously had a Peugeot 107 with no boot space so he was on back seat with two seatbelts. Now the second day of owning the car he chewed the rear driver side seatbelt. Can anyone tell me how much it will cost to replace the belt and do I need a specialist garage ?

Hi all, I purchased a Honda Jazz (2015 - 65 plate) last year in June. It is a 1.3 SE which has basic start/stop plus lane warning and a few other bits. We have seen the start/stop activate on a few occasions but for the last 3 months or so we have noticed when you pop in neutral and release the clutch, the start/stop symbol appears on the dash with a battery symbol next to it. We generally make short trips since lockdown and was wondering if that was the problem. We have in recent weeks done a few 10-15 mile trips and still no start/stop.
