1991 to 2004 Legend

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help please? My mum has had her Honda Legend since almost new and an ABS light has just come on. Apparently, it is the rear, nearside one and the part number is 57475-SZ3-010 i went onto EBay and put the reg number in. A different part came up, but it said it was compatible. Unfortunately, when I took it to the garage, we found it doesn’t fit and now too long ago to return! Honda say it’s been discontinued, as do some other sites. The car is in such a great condition … it’s only done around 58,000, so it’s really frustrating to have this problem in sourcing the replacement part. I thought I’d join your Gro…

Hi folks, Yesterday I purchased a 1997 Legend saloon, one owner from new and 63k genuine miles. A whole 16 days of MOT left..... Does need a bit of fettling but what a machine! Tom

Are these struts interchangeable between a mk2 and mk3

Good day folks I am battling to reset my 2001 Legend that has these fault lights illuminated on the dash.When shorting pin 9 and 4 on the OBD connector under the ashtray i get 9 long and 4 short flashes from the ABS light. The VSC light is also illuminated. Disconnecting and shorting the battery terminals for an hour does not reset the fault log either .Both front wheel speed sensors are 0.85k ohm, and i get 0.14v ac when i rotate the wheels and measure the outputs. All associated fuses and connectors/pipes seem fine. I have yet to test the rears. so... Im trying to locate the 2 pin connector in the passenger footwell that is bridged to enable manual resett…

Hello, I have a Legend 2006 model, I am trying to get the voice recognition to work so i can pair my phone, it keeps asking to repeat, or pardon.. Has anyone else had this problem, is there a way to reset the system or does it need a software update?? Thanks for your help

Hi Please would anyone be able to assist with some parts I require for my Honda Legend 2001 Reg No. MV51 UXG A chrome trim that lies on top of front bumper, drivers side. (See picture) A front wing trim just below indicator light, passenger side. Is damaged slightly at one end. (See picture). Hi all, I have recently acquired a 1999 Legend with very few miles from new. Mechanically it is perfect but it has a couple of offside trims damaged/missing. Can anybody help me to find these parts? I would like to restore it back to original condition as It is a beautiful car to drive. I am not sure of the description but have attached some pics. one is a chrome trim from the front offside wing, and the other is the small plastic trim on the offside rear door pillar/wheel arch. My Father owns a 57 plate Legend and is thinking of selling it but we have no idea of a price. It's an ex dealers own car with all the options. Dad is the 3rd owner and it has 100000 miles on the clock. The bodywork and interior is good but not perfect. Dad has had all the repairs and servicing done by the local dealer. It also has a gas conversion. Any help on this would be really appreciated. Thank you Chris

Just recently I've got myself hands on the Honda Legend Ka7, I've been wanting one of these since I was a young un. Im in awe about it, it took me two days to find the courage to sit inside it lol love everything about these cars, its stance looks so imposing and dominating. The hard thing I'm finding is parts for these so if anyone knows any contacts I would high appreciate the help.

This is my first post. Are there any particular points or weaknesses to look for on a Legend. I've never seen or driven one and I can't recall ever seeing one in my area. I live in Washington NE37. I've owned 6 Accords and 1 "T" reg Legend over the years and all have been extremely reliable but the current model strikes me as being complicated (expensive) with 4WD etc. Like for like I've always thought the Hondas were a bit thirstier than other cars I've owned. For my mileage this isn't an offput just an observation. Most seem to be with dealers asking £4000- £5000. Is there a good used spares back up "ie" Honda breakers/specialists. Regards. Jim

Just had all round pads changed and the brakes are very weak. The mechanic says he can't find a problem. Is there a reset procedure?

Car: 1999MY Legend 3.5 auto UK spec. If anyone's interested in changing their stereo in their Legend... I did a bit of detective work and found the wires which operate the (resistive based) steering wheel audio controls. Dunno why but I'm fanatic about buttons working - I hate it when stuff doesn't work! So I've embarked on this mission to adapt the steering wheel controls to a Pioneer aftermarket head unit (it has DAB). Anyway I'm going to be using a CARAV R-100 device which is programmable to any car (that uses resistive controls). It says it's for a Pioneer but from what I've learned it should also apply to Sony aftermarket head unit…
