Hi I have a problem Honda CR-V 2.0 petrol v-tec registration 56 , code p2138 throttle/ pedal- position sensor switch d/e voltage correlation , the car goes to limb mode , I know the part I need it’s the little black sensor on the top of Carburettor I have been on the internet 3 days I have rang around for this part it’s Unavailable main Dealer so I rang they said can’t get it has to be a whole new carburettor £1500.00 no way, I have looked on eBay they have but not for my car 2.0 petrol v-tec ??? So can I use a different one, is it the same part for all the cars. please can someone help I don’t want to buy a whole new carburettor.

  2. Hi all, I am driving a Honda Accord 2003 Ex 2.4 and I am experiencing this strange annoying rattling sound when traveling above 65mph. I was wondering if anybody have similar experience. I taped up the windows and others, went to the dealer to check but the noise persist. The dealer says it would be too expensive to investigate so I was wondering if any Honda expert has experienced such issue. The audio file is when travelling at 76mph output 1.mp3

  3. I recently purchased my CR-V and shortly afterwards it developed a fault with the Air Cond (green light flashing on AC control panel) and the Engine Management System warning lamp illuminated. A quick search on the internet for known faults and found one pointing to the AC relay. Once located in the fusebox, it was instantly noticeable that it was defective (rattling noise from within the relay when shaken). A search on eBay and a cheap relay from China was sourced for around £3 and then fitted into the fusebox. The system did not fire up straight away...had to clear out the Engine Management fault (AC compressor not working) with a scanner. The next step …
