honda frv 2000cc manual 2006 radiator replacement
Trevor replied to Legend1's topic in Honda FR-V Club
Eurocarparts would be your best bet or ebay as you can then compare the prices. Just put your registration in and it will find the part you need -
Let us know when you locate it as useful to know for future reference

That's a strange one but certainly something which needs to be investigated by a Honda dealership or specialist repairer with the correct diagnostic equipment. It may just be a simple fix but one which necessitates the correct diagnosis rather than changing parts without success. Let us know what it turns out to be

Hi Dave.....welcome to the Forum Hope all is well in Holland regarding the CoronaVirus? Good to have you onboard
-
Hi Keith I think you are right, but it will be either there or at the other end of the crankshaft near the flywheel. Worth checking there first before removing any components. How do you know it is the crank sensor, as they don't usually fail that often?

I can't really define the noise from the sound clip Can you describe it and compare it something similar?

Recommended place to buy a Bluetooth adapter for 08 Honda Accord?

Hi .... welcome to the Forum I believe there should be an Aux port somewhere in the car...on the CRV it is inside the centre console and some cars have them in the glovebox. There are plenty of aux adapters that can interface with the audio by transmitting to a certain FM frequency and these just plug into the cigar lighter. -
It is indeed UK based and managed 🙂

Hi....welcome to the Forum Mintex are good brake pads and i have never had any issues with them in the past. Let us now how you get on with them

Welcome to the forum I believe Honda Karma have dissolved and the site is no longer running.
-
It could be a perforated intercooler or boost hose. Check also the air and fuel filters have been replaced recently
-
It sounds very much like a loose brake pad or caliper and possibly missing a retaining clip. I would try another garage to see if they have any other ideas. Also, check your wheel nuts are tightened correctly

Hi Ben....welcome to the Forum The CRV is a truly wonderful vehicle and I love mine and had no issues over all the years. Flushing the diff oil is an easy job and makes a big difference if replaced frequently. Good to have you onboard
-
So it seems the issue occurs when the transmission is warmed up?
-
Hi....welcome to the Forum It could be the colder temperatures affecting the fluid/oil viscosity which is causing the symptoms you describe. Does it improve after a few miles when everything has warmed up?
-
Hi....welcome to the Forum The pads will take some time to bed in and will appear to have a 'wooden' feeling to the braking efficiency for a short while. If you carry on with normal (not harsh) braking for at least a week and they should have more bite to them by then

Hi Rhys....welcome to the forum I have come across this issue with a Jazz of the same age and found the easiest solution was to replace the reader, immobiliser ECU and Engine Management ECU (I think, can't remember) along with a key. I got the whole lot from eBay from a broken Jazz so it cloned the old vehicle identity and it worked fine and easy to replace the components.

CVT doesn't move til the pedal is moved a long way
Trevor replied to jamjumpin's topic in Jazz 2008 to 2015
oh I see....well Honda's are a little more sedate 🙂 Maybe worth comparing it to another one at another dealership to see if it is isolated to that one car or whether they are the same -

It could be dragging brakes, low fluid in the autobox or a number of issues. Certainly worth getting it checked out by a reputable garage to ensure that it doesn't lead to a more serious fault -
The Prelude is a classic Honda in every sense, especially the TypeR and Four Wheel Steer versions. Good luck with your search for a good condition example, and they must surely be going up in value over the years

honda logo 5 door r/h drive speedo km
Trevor replied to g j lane's topic in Honda General Discussions
Not sure of exact value but it is worth valuing it by putting it on ebay and seeing how much it goes up to Post up a photo if you like, would be interesting to see it -
Hi Sam...welcome to the Forum I would try eBay as a first port of call, should be a few on there Good to have you onboard Cheers, Trevor

😀 That's so typically Honda...took me a while to work that one out as well

Hi Pat....welcome to the Forum Going from memory I thought there is a speed indicator which shows the speed limit and the speed you are travelling at within the speedometer display. I think also that you can set the active cruise to comply with the prescribed speed limits. Definitely bed-time reading of the manual required to learn half of what the CRV is capable of....my one I had for years and was still finding the odd new thing here and there 🙂

The connection between a locking wheel nut and airbag
Trevor replied to Anna's topic in Jazz 2001 to 2008
They have a way of finding issues and upselling the work at huge prices....always pays to shop around to get the issues sorted
