Blue2Basingstoke
Any ideas When I start my Honda Accord 2.4 [05 plate] the following warning lights permanently stay on ; (1) ABS, (2) VSA Activation & (3) VSA System
Trevor
Sounds like an ABS sensor has gone faulty
Blue2Basingstoke
Thank You, I’m going to have a look at the weekend. Then I’ll let you know
Blue2Basingstoke
It was the N/S/R sensor which was luckily easy to replace and solved this issue and then I just needed a diagnostics machine to reset the VSA. Thanks for the advice
Trevor
glad you resolve it and hopefully wasn't too expensive
Blue2Basingstoke
A local garage provided the assistance of their diagnostics machine to reset the VSA (obviously for a small fee)
madfogs
Hi, anyone experienced an ABS motor relay :open circuit fault , ABS and VSA light stay on and sometimes goes off , ABS /VSA light goes on after some kms running and after starting engine again, checked the ABS relay ,the motor -everything is fine , the only thing have to check is inside the motor relay of the ABS module. has any one had experienced the same issue...Thanks. Trevor
madfogs . Can't say I have come across this one before but I would replace the relay if in doubt. If it is an Omron relay then I have had these go on me before (air conditioning main relay).

More than likely a faulty wheel speed sensor causing this issue

Trevor
they are on all four wheels and the best method is to disconnect the connector (usually inside the boot area and under the bonnet) and measure the resistance from the sensor. They should all be approximately the same (give or take a few ohms). If one reading is non existent then more than likely an open circuit meaning it is defective.
