JFN77 Posted May 1, 2020 Posted May 1, 2020 Hiya My rear suspension is appearing to be (it is) sagging on the off side. The whole of the rear suspension seems to be lower than maybe it should be but is noticeably lower on the O/S. I've heard an intermittent clonk which appears to be coming from there over big speed bumps or dismounting a kerb. Rear Shocks? Springs? Ideas on how I could check this? **EDIT - I've just been under the car again and the spring has snapped! Not sure how I missed that!!??!! Cheers Jon
Trevor Posted May 4, 2020 Posted May 4, 2020 Hi Jon That was my first thoughts. It is worth replacing both springs as if one has gone the other won't be too far behind and it gives an even drive and steering is not compromised.
Pompey Andy Posted May 5, 2020 Posted May 5, 2020 What mileage have you done, and do you think it has been towing a caravan, not often springs snap is it
