Fitting a Dash cam

Before I buy, how easy is it to wire in a Dash Cam in a Honda Accord 2012 2.4 fitted with ADAS.

 

I am a little concerned where to run the wire down the pillar that has side airbags.

I have successfully fitted a hard wire kit and also standard auxiliary power lead down the pillar just by tucking it behind rather than removing the plastic cover and disturbing the SRS.

Once it is tucked behind it can't be seen and doesn't interfere with the SRS as long as it is not connected to any of the SRS wiring (usually yellow colour trunking)

Was it easy to place wire behind pillar strip and wind screen lining?

Also where did you hard wire to as I was just thinking to continue wire under glove box and in the side well by centre console to rest the plug just use the cigarette plug on end when needed?

........Sorry can I ask another question where is it best to place dash cam with all the ADAS fittings already on my windscreen.

I would then position it to the right of the ADAS in that case
