Posted October 13, 20214 yr Hi, folks. Adding to the To Do List on my 2.2 with 147k on it. I've a terrible worksheet to get thru on this. Currently looking at removing the EGR valve. I've managed to get a small peek and it's absolutely caked. Just amatter of time before a code appears. Slight hesitation from stationary or low speed. It goes like a rocket, but seems EGR is the problem. Any advice on removal please? Thanks.
October 25, 20214 yr If you can remove it and clean it then maybe consider using a blanking plate (make sure you get one with small hole in the middle) You can clean the EGR in a solution and refit it but will have to ensure the engine is running at higher revs to keep it clear
