I Recently had the car in for a diagnostic check and the garage confirmed the engine was getting up to temp (78c)? but the heater in this car is useless!    I have it on max constantly and in this weather the car is never warm inside even after 40+ minutes of driving. The air that comes out of the vents is tepid at best.  I am having to wear my coat, hat and gloves all the time while driving this car! 😨    I know diesels do take a while to warm up but surely this is not right?

I did ask the garage to investigate it but they were a bit dismissive and just said the car is getting up to temp and the heater works...    The car is a 2007 Civic 2.2ctdi.

Any help or advice on this would be appreciated. I am tired of driving everywhere in a stone cold car!

I would have backflushed the heater matrix as this usually sorts the issue
