Hi all, can back to my 06 frv yesterday in a car park and found the drivers side mirror had been fully pushed back.  Normally when this happens can usually just push it back and after a few attempts the power folding sorts itself out and gets in sync.  However this time the whole mirror is just  flimsy and can be folded in by hand and easily.  When turning the car on can hear the motor in the mirror whirring away constantly and doesn’t stop and power folding does not engage.  
 

is this fixable or should I look for a replacement mirror?  Does anyone know how to take the mirror unit apart and what I should be looking for? 

I'm sure it is fixable if you are able to work out how to open the mirror.

My indicator went on my drivers side and after a frustrating hour trying to work out how to open  it I just bought another off eBay.

 

If you need a mirror with a working motor but bad bulb give me a shout 😀
