Hi All

I have noticed lately that my Crv has developed a squeal when depressing the Clutch Pedal, Had a good look through other Honda Owners comments on this and apparently it can be a problem on some Hondas, The clutch is operating fine, so located the Clutch Slave Cylinder and gave it good dose of WD40 and some 3 in 1 around the rubber seals and the slave cylinder piston, okay its not the same as removing the piston and doing a proper job, but the squealing noise has stopped , and a relief not to get this noise every time, I will let others know the outcome.

Have a good weekend Guys & Gals

Hi Trevor

I'm also not so supple as I used to be , please see my Topic on A little Tip which can also possibly work on the Slave Cylinder Squeal Problem

I sometimes have the same on my 2005 CRV I find that if I ride the clutch for a few seconds it stops it for a few weeks. I was told I'm too gentle driving and the clutch gets 'smooth'????? Alan

Give the Slave cylinder mech rod under the Clutch Pedal dose of WD40 or as suggested by Trevor on the Forum Alan and see if this improves it
