TWW Posted July 30, 2023 Posted July 30, 2023 (edited) Hi, Just sold our 2002 Jazz and bought a 2015/14 CR-V. I say 2015/14 because although it's a 2015 plate, it's not the facelifted version. Bought the car yesterday, the wheel nearly fell off today! The mechanics at the dealers who replaced the brakes appear to have become distracted when tightening up the passenger-side front wheel. Fortunately, the RAC man was able to identify the cause of the strange - and increasing - rumbling and fixed it in time. Thomas Edited July 30, 2023 by TWW Clarity
BAZZER RN 1 Posted August 1, 2023 Posted August 1, 2023 That must have been scary and could have caused you to have had a nasty accident, Glad the RAC Guy found it in time, Did you or He report this to the Garage concerned and perhaps they will pay more attention next time. Good Luck with your CRV in future BAZZER RN 1
b4u2 Posted August 26, 2023 Posted August 26, 2023 @TWW That is very poor level service and warrants a complaint. they should definitely compensate you for this.
Trevor Posted August 27, 2023 Posted August 27, 2023 Just lucky you found it in time but worth getting them to check all the other wheels and anything else that could have not been tightened correctly (oil filter, sump plug, etc) and maybe the next service as a gesture of goodwill?
