I own a 2016 CR-V 2.4L Earthdreams engine with 18,500 miles purchased used in June 2024. On X-mas eve I drove to parents house and parked in the garage. Next morning there was a gas smell in garage and checked dipstick. The oil reeked of gasoline. Also opened the oil cap and it too reeked of gasoline. Under 4,000 miles since last FULL SYNTHETIC oil change. No leaks on floor. Took it to the dealership and they looked at me like I was crazy. Service techs refused to open the hood to check for gasoline smell in the oil. They said they could try installing a new PCV valve for over $1,000 to fix gas smell on outside of the car, but they refused to acknowledge problem with oil, or even check or change the oil.  At this point I am considering changing the oil at Valvoline and trading in for a new or certified used Toyota and calling it a day. Honda has lost its damn mind!
