John Watson Posted Wednesday at 12:22 PM Posted Wednesday at 12:22 PM My Mk 3 Jazz tyre pressure sensors have been activated frequently in the recent hot weather . A bit of a nuisance . Any suggestions please ?
old man Posted Wednesday at 01:06 PM Posted Wednesday at 01:06 PM The same as when driving, tyre pressures increase on their own in hot weather. I don't know if the tyre pressure alarm points can be altered in the car to allow for the extra pressure in the tyres ( I'm not overly familiar with the Jazz as it's my wifes), but if not then you could physically lower the tyre pressures by a couple of lbs to stop the alarm showing. Don't forget to increase the pressures when the weather cools down. There should be enough leeway in the settings to allow for some variation in pressures.
Alan gsd Posted Thursday at 04:45 PM Posted Thursday at 04:45 PM These Mk 3 Jazz's are a bit posh tyre senors, remember the good old days when every garage air line gave a different reading!!. Had a damged tyre valve yeras ago was a late at night broken at the base used superglue got me home!!!!
