  2. Do your interior lights come on when you open the doors? Have all the fuses been checked? It really needs to go onto a live data session to see what inputs the BCM is seeing. From what you've said it sounds like a problem with the BCM. You havent mentioned if that a reset had been done when the battery was changed. Also the battery management system might need a reset also. Could be why the stop/start isn't working. anybody with half a brain would be close to finding the problem on live data.
  3. My Eny1 is 18 months old and done 4300 miles The Honda on line brochure clearly states that when the right hand boot button is pressed the boot will close when you walk away and lock the boot and car The boot closes and locks but there car stays unlocked The Honda garage tell me that only the boot should lock and Honda Tech support confirm this HELP Does anyone else have this problem? 6. Hi all, I have just inherited a 1981 Honda Civic Hondamatic 3dr in Shetland White with a blue interior. My grandad bought it new, grandmother took it on when he passed now left to me following her passing. Looking to get it back on the road properly following a video made by The Brake Show. Any help/advice/parts is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Sean
  7. OK, so mine's done 113k, what's the highest on here?
  8. Hi, my vehicle is suffering rear inner edge tyre wear. I am aware there is some adjustment that can be made on the lower arms, my question is - is there any adjustment that can be made to rear wheel alignment. I believe that the 'adjustment ' nut impacts on the rear camber and is adjustable for each wheel. Anyone can provide some more information on the subject or point me in the right direction ? My vehicle has clocked up 145k miles and has always been a bit heavy on rear tyres, even after 4 wheel alignment at a reputable garage chain, in fact on that occasion an adjustment was made but insufficient adjustment to be within tolerance. The cars history is known and no accident damage that could account for my problem. BTW the car drives fine and handles well in any weather, its just I fancy having a go at getting it to be more gentle on tyres. Thanks Chris.
  9. It's has done well for 20 years so a hole about the size of a pin head is good going, so think my spot of glue will do the job for now.
  10. If you are still doing the radio codes, please can you get me the code for S/N 28086508. I would be extremely happy if you can as my wife reminds me every day. Thank you

  11. I think if they are original roof rails and they are now 19 years old and I would therefore place as little weight on them as possible to be on the safe side

  13. that's a brilliant ad and wished other manufacturers could do something this ingenious - now they just focus on the lifestyle aspect and forget its even a car.
  14. I've not had much luck buying from China via Ebay lost a few ££££££ so wouldn't chance it unless you can afford to take a chance.
  15. Hi all my 2009 Frv reversing unit failed so I bought a cheap no make system, drilled out existing sensors and fitted new sensors and wires it in, a wire to reversing light and wires to the beeper ( fixed next to existing sounder). I think I got the 'kit' for under £15.00 and apart from a little faffing around its been working for the last few years. I didn't have the equipment to check the original control unit or each individual ultrasonic sensor so it seemed to logical cheap fix.
