Just bought my first Honda

Please any advice on the following 2019 Honda civic 1.5 sports turbo 40,000 miles - just acquired 1 parcel shelf information - can’t seem to see what I am doing wrong fitting it/ bit missing? 2. sound proofing? 3 general advice and local owners / owners club Northants/ Milton Keynes/ Bedford ? john

Hi I just bought a wee civic as my car does on me. I'm hoping you can help me. When at speeds above about 30mph there is a strange noise. I actually turned the car off and let it coast and the noise was still there. I have attached a recording to see if that helps. Any help would be greatly appreciated civic noise.m4a

Hi folks, just recently got my first Honda car, a nice red 2016 Civic Tourer with only 9000 miles. They caught my eye when thye first came out, but have now come into my price range. Mine's a red 1800 petrol SE Plus with sat nav, and is like new. One thing that is really causing a problem though is internal reflections on the inside of the windscreen. In the countryside, in the dark, no problem, but as soon as it's under streetlights, I get waves of reflections as I drive from the furthest part of the dash top - i.e. it's the ridge over the speedo that forms a curved line right across the screen, It's really affecting me, and I wonder if anyone else has encountered t…

Hi, Joining here because the only key that we have to my partners car has stopped working. The electronic part, that is. We can still drive it, but the alarm is constantly on. I've bought a new, blank key and have seen many Youtube videos telling me that I can sync the new key to the car, but none of them seem to work. I'm here to try and get this to work. Hello All just introducing myself - I have recently become the proud owner of a 2016 CRV after years of company car BMWs - it’s a breath of fresh air! However owning my own car doesn’t half make you paranoid about parking, recently surfaced roads etc - so any advice on a bonnet protector and side bars in the UK and who could fit them - the car is white so they would have to be black - TIA

Do any other 2014 CRV owners find their batteries drain after being left parked a couple of days? Or know anything about this problem with this model/year? Thanks

I have a Honda Jazz Crosstar 71 plate. I wanted a Dashcam to give some extra protection to my car in case of any incidents that arose while out driving. I was persuaded by the dealer to install the Honda Drive Recorder which I had done a couple of days ago. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to do anything useful and the instructions supplied with it are really hard to make sense of. When it was installed the sales person got it going and took a still picture of the front view and one of the back view using the reversing camera. That is all I have. The journey home wasn't recorded and I've been out a couple of times since but nothing is recorded. Does anyone have…

Hi everyone - I bought a Honda Freed (Spike) Japanese import a couple of weeks back which I'm really pleased with. There are though, loads of bits and pieces that I could do with understanding on the car but obviously the supplied owner manual is Japanese. Does anyone have any idea please how I can get hold of one in English ? Many thanks Gary

Hi Trever Thanks for the reply, sorry I've been away for a bit, but things are slowly but surly getting back to some sort of normality and my days are getting fuller. I agree with your observation about the gadgets in the car, but I have worked my way through the owners manual, and have just about sorted them all out !! I have also downloaded the 'Honda e' app on my phone, and added the extras, 'O.K. Honda' etc., (Very useful). You can locate the car anywhere, and perform certain functions like locking or unlocking the doors, and sound the horn to find it in a multi story carpark or large parking area. Neil

Hi, Desperately looking for a replacement front windscreen. The only 2 breaker jades in country don't have one intact. c.2K from japan!!! 6 month lead time. Have found someone in UK who can make a minimum of 5 of them but would need a couple of other buyers to justify. OEM: 73111T4R003 Maybe someone knows of an unlisted broken Jade somewhere? as I can have a guy who can remove the glass safely. any help appreciated. or am looking at a write off. Brian.

When driving along my car seems to miss fire. Has anyone had the same problem I have just had the transmission fluid changed at the dealers thanks in advance

Hi, I have recently bought a Honda jazz and I have just noticed that the front passengers window when raised to the top then drops couple of inches back down, I cannot see why this happening. I have looked in the manual, and the only reason it would normally go down is if something was blocking the space, can any body help please.

Great to be on board after a 3 year gap in Honda ownership. Now the owner of a 2017 diesel HR-V whilst my former 2007 Civic diesel remains with my son. What a hand-me-down! I'll give up motoring when there are no diesels around - mind you i will be 91 then!

Hi there everyone, I have owned a honda stepwagon 2010 rk5 for nearly a year now and its an amazing car. I am currently looking for a few bits for its next mot like discs n pads, tie rods and suspension arms or all the bushes. I heard that honda use the same parts already available for other models and I am hoping someon1e knows this information because buying the parts that are sold just stating stepwagons are ridiculously overpriced. Hi All. I'm not new to honda , or classic cars, but this looks about the best fit! We have just acquired a 89 Accord Aerodeck, which I'm sure plenty is shared with the prelude. Between my partner and I, we have 20 cars! There are a good trench of rovers in there, which a lot of them are a honda in drag. I've also had a 99 legend. A prelude or legend coupe are on the shopping list. Parts look to be fun and games for the 80s stuff. I got around the headlamps easy enough ( acclaim ones) but suspension looks a nightmare to get spares for. Any tips or good sources ? Regards Mark
