Hi guys a new member here , now on my 5th honda Civic and to be completely honest none of them have cost me any money apart from tyres and if I recall one light bulb. I now own the Honda Civic 1.6 iDTEC ES (2013) and I have got to say with it's performance, ride and economy I think it's the best one yet RonnieB

hi all i am very new to computers being 70 years old i am used to sending letters and waiting 6 weeks for a reply anyway can anyone help me r advise +my window rubbers or scrapers has perished on the outside of the doors, its the one that fits where the door meets the bottom of the windows any help or advice would be fantastic my car is an accord 1995 many thanks Bob....

Hi guys. I moved to fuerte and bought a 2001 Mk1 CRV for the lava tracks over here. It rips these up and is a great car for this island. It's had / got a few niggles, but I'll look at the forums. Gracias amigos.

Hi folks, billpmadscot, soon to be residing in Scotland after 22+ years in Southwest Ireland. Used to ride Honda motorbikes but 68 and arthritic I prefer my comfort with a Japanese imported Honda hybrid Fit Shuttle. Easy rider, plenty of torque when I need it. Automatic, lots of bells and whistles but no manual to explain them. Looking forward to returning home. A Glasgow boy but chose a house on the outskirts of Kilmarnock, around 20 miles to Glasgow by motorway. Drop in and say hi, I'm happy to talk on any subject car related or otherwise.

DA, have just started getting a metallic scraping noise from the rear nearside when turning right. It's going in tomorrow as they said it might be the brake rear plate scratching. Do the 2011 CRV's have brake sensors on them, and the other strange thing is when I apply the brake it stops the grinding noise. May be a wheel bearing I guess it has 92K on the clock.

Hi, I own a 2011 CRV, with 41000 miles on clock, I'm having a problem that seems to be a slipping clutch, the symptoms are in low revs in 2 or 3 when starting to accelerate I hear the rpm go slightly higher than the accelerate speed, also there's a jump on the rpm counter. But the handbrake test, I,e try to pull away with handbrake on doesn't confirm the clutch slipping, any help much appreciated, Tom Hill

Anyone know a good place to get Honda spare parts instead of from a dealer ?

Right I'm a newbie and only just got my Honda. First time I have ever owned an Honda. Loving it so far but I cannot for the life of me figure out something. Is it possible to have the speed that I am doing displayed at all times without resorting to looking at my speed diameter all the time. I am slowly getting used to the touch screen etc. I swear you need a mensa degree to figure it out !! I've looked in the book, googled, you tubed nearly everthing I can think of . If anyone can tell me how to do it in laymans terms I would be really grateful. The honda I've got is a Honda CR-V 2.0 i-VTEC SR 5dr [DASP] Petrol Estate 2017. Thanks for reading

I have just bought a 19 reg Civic 1000 turbo. When I test drove it & drove others also, even a Jazz, the speed limit icon on the dashboard screen started flashing if I went 4 mph above the speed limit - great. Now it doesn't & I can't find any setting to remedy this. Any advice please? Thanks.

Hi, I have a Honda Civic type s 2007 and have a problem with the car that the mechanic says he can’t diagnose!!!! My car has started to get a thudding noise with a squeak (sounds like an old prank) but only when braking and only going forwards!!!!! The drivers front side has also dipped slightly in comparison to the passengers. No noise when driving only when braking and only once the car has warmed up any ideas?????

Names Joe, I live in the states, I have only owned Hondas and my current Acura my whole life. My family got me started with all Hondas as well. My mother owned an 86, 99 and currently 09 accord. My brother owns the 99 Accord now. My father drives a 2000 Odyssey and I previously owned an 02 Accord and now own my 2004 RSX Type S. I love Honda vehicles and enjoy modifying and working on my vehicle myself, I am quite knowledgeable when it comes to maintenance and I go to school for automotive. I am also active on multiple acura forums as well. I like the layout of this forum and will most likely be spending a lot of time here. Cheers Joe

Hi All, My name is Alan I have become the proud owner of my late Uncles Honda Accord Executive A, 2.4 petrol 2004. I am trying to source a sunroof rubber seal for this car, as it has started to weather. My Uncle used to have it parked outside and before the seal starts to leak, I would like to replace it. I have had a quote from Honda for over £1000, to replace the glass and seal, all I need is the seal. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks Alan

Hi everyone, i currently drive a diesel Toyota Verso 7 seater and im wanting to come back to honda for abit more thrills, used to have a 2.4 accord automatic which i loved driving before having to accommodate more children so im looking at coming back and selling my toyota or part exchanging it for a automatic petrol FRV and doing some bits with it, so i will be looking around the forum for help on getting one! Hello all, I've just changed my Gen 7 Accord for a FN2 (?) Type S GT. Surprised in the difference from twin cam K20 to the K18. The former growled but I love the buzzy single cam. Looking at options for tuning. What can be achieved with changing/reprogramming chip and breathing on stock internals? Advice on best good quality quiet tyres would be welcomed too. Many thanks.

bought the 2017 hr-v , and pleased with my purchase , my wife though misses the extra oomph that the turbo gave on the previous car. We do not like much the hrv sport , and as a long shot what would the fitting of a turbo to our car cost, and is it a viable proposition. Anybody got an opinion on this>?.
