04 Type S 2.0 L 5 door. Original radio/CD player. Does anyone know if there is an 'AUX' input on the back? If so it may be worth me taking the unit out so I can arrange connection of external devices such as phone/MP3 player etc. If not....and given that half the dash and probably the engine, have to come out to allow radio removal..maybe not worth the bother...

I broke the bonnet release knob on my 04 2.0 L 'S' (Series 7, 5 Door) and now have to keep a pair of pliers in the glove box for opening bonnet. I don't think replacing the whole cable is all that difficult... but probably a PITA. It goes through the bulkhead, inside inner wing and around the engine bay.. underneath the plastic cowl over the radiator..then just past the bonnet catch and then doubles back to the catch. But..for a few quid..numerous suppliers online have a 'bodge'. It's an alloy replacement knob which fixes to the existing cable end with a couple of grub screws. Has anyone used one? Hello!! As above. I have a passenger side front fog lamp with a cracked lens, which works, but I want to replace it. Car is 04 reg. iVtec Type S 2.0 L 5 door hatch. These lamps are all over eBay from China for around £15-25 but the wait is a few weeks and the quality is anybody's guess. On the other hand UK dealers want £288+VAT which is frankly taking 'dealer premium' to ridiculous levels. So...currently trying to source one s/h. So.. my question. Can anyone recommend a source for this part? And does anyone know it is is possible to change it without taking the whole bumper off? Maybe by removing the panel under the car just behind the bumper?

I have got a 2004 Honda Civic 1.7 CTDi 2 door hatch. It has the in tank Denso 17708-S6F-E31 electric fuel pump. I know the pump is out of production (Stupid!) but does anyone know where i can get the in tank Filter? or some sort of conversion pump. I feel like i am banging my head on a wall. Many thanks

Hi First time posting on the forum. All help appreciated. A lovely toe rag smashed off the passenger mirror on my 03 civic. I bought a replacement on ebay and have tried to fit it today without success. The three bolts on the replacement mirror don't line up with the holes in the door frame so I can't fix it in place. The 2 x bottom bolts go through, the top one however in the "triangle" is about an inch away. I'd checked the part number on the underside of the replacement mirror and my intact driver side mirror. Both are 010672. As well as the top bolts being in different places, it looks like the plastic triangular fascia that should sit flush on the outside…

I was just wondering if the parts from a standard civic can be used on a type r engine! I am very new to honda, I've never owned one before but have done a timing belt change on a mates 52 plate 2 door coupe a little while ago! Basically I have a k20 a2 on the way to go into my fd, I'm trying to keep the costs down a little so I've picked up a low compression block. I'll be needing things like alternator, throttle body inlets and things like that and was just wondering if parts like this are interchangeable with standard civics. I recently fitted a new compressor pump but the clutch will not engage. Can any member identify the location of the clutch relay in the under bonnet fuse box? Ken

Hi All, I have got a Honda Civic 1.7CDTI 2005 and was wondering if anyone else has been able to fit LED headlight bulbs to the car. The current bulbs are HB4 9006, i did buy a cheap set the once but they didnt seem to fit as it was too long. When the bulb went in as it hit the front of the where it is housed in the headlight it would go off because of it touching?

Hi there, Well Basically I cleaned the front of the headlights today but I noticed a fair bit of moisture inside the light. Does anyone have any tips on how to stop moisture from getting in? I don't have a problem taking them off. I will probably do it tomorrow as I have a 160 mile night trip to do. I read somewhere that you can take it out and fill it with water to see where water is getting in? I don't really want to but new lights if possible. Also I have a puddle under my spare wheel in the boot. It's quite a lot of water in there. Is it probably the boot seal? tia

Hi, I have a Civic 1.4 2006. Recently changed the car battery and ever since the car alarm keeps going off. It's so annoying!! I've had to isolate the positive terminal of the battery as it was waking up the neighbours at night. Does anyone know of how to resolve this issue? How to reset or fix it? Would appreciate any help!
