I've got a Honda Civic Turbo sport (2020 model). It's due it's second service soon. The garage is quoting me £349 for it? Is this correct? It seems a bit excessive. Thanks Lee

Hi, I recently bought a 1990 Civic EF sedan 1.4 dual carb. Im 19 years old so this is the first car I've ever bought myself, I love the EF sedans and am so please with my new car. Great place to start to get to know about working on cars and such. I am really struggling to get insurance though. I got one day insurance to get it back home when i bought it, but now i'm properly looking into getting insurance for it, it's proving very difficult. It's either a quote so high I cant afford it or it just gets declined :( not sure why as I am not going to be driving this daily as I have a van for work, and its a 30 year old 1.4 so it's slow. If anyone …

Hi all! I have a 2007 Honda Civic Type S, which up until recently has been incredibly reliable! However it has developed an issue with a loud high pitched almost grinding noise when going around bends. This noise is very intermittent and seems to depend on the force of the bend. It does however happen every time without fail on reverse. My father, who is very handy has had a look and is stumped. It has also been into a garage for a quick look and they cannot see anything wrong. Typically they took it for a quick test drive and it didn’t make the noise. I understand the 2007 civics are electrical power steering. My father can see a pipe in the engine which is stumping…

Hello all, I've got to change my rear trailing arm bushes again. I've ordered some that have arrived but they look different to the ones I purchased a couple years ago. The website states that they are for a mk1 crv but I don't understand why they have a different shape?

RE: 2018 Odyssey Touring. Had/have again warning appear that "Road departure mitigation system off" then goes back on. Now new warning; "Engine management system problem" now on. There are no engine codes stored so hard to make diagnosis. Last summer Honda supposedly did recall service 20- 047 to update for guage control. Suggestion is to take back to Honda for new SoftWare update. Anyone else with same issue?

Can’t help but think that if Honda looked to Kia and also gave 7 years warrantee they’d be smashing the market to pieces! 4 years isn’t too bad though

  17. Hello there, I hope you are all well! I live in Dublin and drive a 1977 Honda Civic as my every day car (I mention this as everyone asks). My indicator switch went a year ago and I had an electrical guy fix it, but now it has gone again and I need to replace it or else stick buttons on the dash. I would really like to keep it the way it is! If anyone could help source one or give me an idea of where I could, I would be really grateful! It is my baby!

Hi there everyone, I have owned a honda stepwagon 2010 rk5 for nearly a year now and its an amazing car. I am currently looking for a few bits for its next mot like discs n pads, tie rods and suspension arms or all the bushes. I heard that honda use the same parts already available for other models and I am hoping someon1e knows this information because buying the parts that are sold just stating stepwagons are ridiculously overpriced. Kind regards Christian

I need to find a way to replace the key fob on my 1998 Honda Civic. The rubber button on one side has become so worn that all that can be seen is the plastic part underneath. This is hard to reach and becoming more difficult by the day to use. Honda UK says that it's no longer supported, and so they can't get the parts.

Hi all,new member here. I own a 2011 Honda CRV 2.2 idtec diesel. I love the car to bits but have recently have a problem with a split EGR pipe (quite a common fault apparently). Before spending a small fortune getting it repaired I wondered if any members have gone down the ERG delete route and did it work ok? I have read that deleting the EGR can generally improve performance. Im,e ok to fit the blanking plate myself but will have to find a tuner to delete the system in the cars ECU. I think I read online that the ECU program couldn,t be deleted ..hence the enquiry. This looks a very knowledgeable forum so fingers crossed one of…

A little Tip for dried out rubber gromets or window seals, a good size can of Halfords Silicone Spray for £ 4.99 does the trick and worth giving rubber seals a good spray in this hot weather when the rubber does tend to dry out and could deteriorate more quickly and also a good lubricant for other car parts except of course Brake parts or Steering assembly which should be common sense not to use any lubricant on. other than that, follow the instructions on the can and get rid of those nasty squeaks as well on the car. Best Wishes BAZZER RN 1
