Our civic vtec engine blew up! Regular service 130,000miles maintained OK, ran perfect then stopped on restarting just when bang!! Now the engine turns but does not start any ideas please?

My Honda CR-V Bluetooth has stopped working. I have tried all the usual settings and tried coming out and resetting, but it just goes to the off setting after I try logging in. Has anyone else had the same problem, or can offer any help. My Honda garage wants £114 just to check it.

Hi a strange one here but I can’t find my key anywhere, I’ve had the house upside down. Could it be in my boot? It’s locked but I thought all the doors had to be closed for it to lock? Is it possible I have pressed lock on the key while the boot was open getting my stuff and left it in there when closing the boot? I’m baffled

We have just had it now for just over 2 years and have 10,500 miles on it. We had a 2015 Touring that we sold with 29,000 miles on it prior to this purchase. Hi all, I'm looking to purchase my first Honda as I'm after a reliable car that is well specced, well built and not going to lose too much value. I may have to resell in the next 2-12 months, depending on where my job takes me but that's irrelevant. Hi everyone. Would appreciate some advice. Until recently, when I remotely locked or unlocked my Jazz, all 4 lights would flash. Its now only flashing on the driver's side. All lights work as normal and the indicators still work normally. Can anyone tell me how to restore the original actions.

Has anyone suffered water getting under their drivers floor mat. the carpet is dry on its upper surface but wet underneath suggesting water is running down the bulkhead and under the carpet. tried spraying talc onto floor mat but hasn't helped to show up whereater is coming from. anyone any ideas please.

2 months ago, I bought an approved used car Honda Civic 2018 diesel as my first car. As it comes with 12 months hondacare guarantee and car assistance, I think I only need to take care the maintenance after a year. But I just received an email from the sales dealer that the service is due soon...?? Does it mean I need to drive the car to the dealer for checking? Or can I have service from nearby Honda dealer (as the dealer sold the car is in other town)? Thank you.

Hi I was lucky to buy a used Honda CRV 05 plate about 4 years ago for £1800 with 120k on the clock. I have a good mechanic who has got me through my MOT's and it's been a great car but sadly this last MOT has come up with bad rust under the car and various other serious issues and because of the rust such as brakes and steering on both sides is in danger of collapse, deeming it unworthy of fixing. I live rurally and do drive through a lot of bad surface water due to heavy rains/flooding years round but nothing crazy other than road driving. Hi, looking for some advice/suggestions regarding transmission power loss. I have a 2008 2.2 cdti 6MT car which is due to have front struts & drop links replaced, however after just completing a 400 mile round trip, I became aware of a potentially more serious issue which may nullify the suspension fixes. The car seems to struggle, I can shift gears without issue but depressing the accelerator while raising the engine revs does not seem to translate to increased acceleration. Also noted that when the car encountered a change in load ( eg going up a hill ) , depressing the accelerator pedal, I can hear the engine revving but the car seems to struggle - it eventually ge…

Its around four weeks since I had the 4 mismatched tryes replaced on my CRV and the difference is noticeable on the ride and steering. I've used Avon before on my transits and been happy with them so when I was offered 4 at a very good price I went for it. Think they thought I was mad as the old tryes had plenty of tread left but I hated having 4 difference make of tyres and the price won't come again!!
