CR-V 2011 to 2016

Why does the Honda CR-V Diesel’s instantaneous fuel consumption sometimes fluctuate significantly between 0 and 20 liters per hour while idling, even when the engine's RPM is steady?

Hi all, I'm trying to update the software on the infotainment system so that it can play Android Auto. Does anyone have any ways of getting this done? I am looking at going to the dealership for this but concerned they will charge me a fortune for it. Tia

I'm wondering if anyone can advise me. I'm about to purchase a 2014 CRV on Saturday. It's lovely, very low mileage & alcantara seats. But it doesn't come with a SatNav. I'd like to retrofit one. Can I buy a second hand unit from another 2014 CRv & put it in? Would it fit? Or would I be better off buying an infotainment system & have that installed instead? Tia

Installing an Android Auto radio to replace OEM Stock radio and use the large screen of the aftermarket android auto system with the rear / backup cam system. Was hoping someone would have the pin outs/ wire diagram of the i-Mid so I can tap into the cam video feed.

Evening all We all know these cars are incredibly reliable, but I suspect the weak link is the auto box. Anyone any idea as the the expected life expectancy, assuming scheduled fluid changes, no towing (not that I expect many people would try to tow anything given the limitations of the petrol/auto combination...) etc? Hello, New to the group. I'm looking for some help, had my battery replaced which has now reset my radio and sat nav and looking for any help on how to source it. I've scrolled through youtube looking for answers but my model of stereo doesn't seem to be there. I have attached a picture of it. There is a card in the handbook with the serial number but no radio code. Any help is appreciated. Ross

Hi I have a Honda 2.2 diesel 2014 with 68,000 miles it needs a new clutch I am told by one Honda independent specialist that I should replace the flywheel when replacing the clutch, The dealership says it's unlikely to need replacing as they are generally fine does anyone have any experience of this?

Hi All, I would greatly appreciate your collective wisdom here,today I swopped out a car battery on my 2016 crv, during the process I had a obd battery minder in line and all seemed to go well until I attempted to start the car, the car will only start with the key fob touching the starter button and also I have lost keyless entry and locking including power tail gate, radio and computer are working fine, I can't believe it's the battery's in the remote as both were working perfectly prior to car battery swop, any thoughts please. Anyone else have problems with a 2014 crv with battery drains after a few days left parked? Does battery need replaced more than other cars or is it my imagination ?

Hi, My wiper blades need replacing. I have been through the manual but cannot find what size I should get, and I am getting different results from online sites. Some say the rear is 13" others 11". My car is; 2014 AWD Honda CR-V I-VTEC EX, Petrol, Auto. So can any one clarify please, plus any recommended brands/suppliers. Thanks in advance. KittyB

Just bought a new to me Honda CRV 2014 2.2 diesel. There’s a weird clicking noise coming from behind the glovebox when I turn on the ignition. I’m presuming it’s the heating flap actuator. Anyone have a guide to how to remove this at all? Thanks

Hello. I hope you good folks can help. I've had the Auto stop start and airbag warning lights pop up on my dash whilst driving. I have checked fuses and plugs under the seats and all look sound. Had the battery tested and replaced and just had the codes scanned. This came up with U0151 - no communication with SRS module. With further investigation the tech thinks the SRS module has stopped working. I'm no stranger to a set of tools and I'm going to replace the module myself. Does anyone know where the module is located?

HI, I have a 2010 CRV AERO which I am extremely pleased with. To cut a long story short, my front nearside Chrome strip ( don't know what to call it) which is unique to the Aero is hanging off. given the thing that holds it on is broken. I have contacted three dealers and 5 scrapyards without success, generally they don't know of the AERO or loose interest given the probable small sale value. I'm willing to pay well over the odds to get these two or three retainers that hold the strip, anyone any ideas, suggestions? 🙏🙏BW

Evening; my radio is playing up. Can only play a CD, volume works, on/off switch works, nothing else does. Seering wheel controls are OK so I can select a radio station. Haven't changed battery, or anything like that. Any ideas?

Hi, CRV community, I have a vibration between 60 and 70 miles an hour. It only happens under acceleration so stops the second I come off the gas or press the clutch. Ive had the wheel balance checked so opinion is that it's somethng on the drive shaft although the garage wasn't able to find any play. Garage thinks a new shaft could run into the thousands, a bit scary! Any experience of this? any thoughts? thanks.

Hi. I am hoping someone can shed some light on possible areas to check as I'm running out of ideas with water ingress into the boot space and collecting in spare wheel area. I've had roof rails off, rear lights out, rear bumper and towbar off. Cleaned all gutters and seals. Reapplied tiger seal to all factory seam culk and checked for visible holes. Siliconed every rubber grommet and screw/bolt hole and it is still tracking in somewhere. Car is stationary and will leak in. Even checked and cleaned rear arches, removing liners and cleaning inspecting all seams. Pretty much at a loss. Boot space door seal is not deformed and is not drawing in water via capillary action…

Hi all, I've been looking for a nice CR-V for a while and at last one has turned up, but something I'm struggling to get in my head is a few apparently (to me) odd points, firstly there's a gap of about 2cm between the dashboard and the A pillar see pic no1, secondly the center dash clock looks like it's got screen burn, and finally the gear lever surround appears to have degraded at it's base, the car is a 2013 with only 48,000 miles, price wise it's £10,995 somehow I had higher expectations, any help appreciated, oh a HPI check comes back clear. Hi looking for help I own a 2015 1.6 idtec CRV end of last year it lost power on the motorway badly but we managed to crawl off and call the AA. Recovery man scanned car and only code was MAF signal high at this point he recommended egr check and didn't trust code to be accurate but I changed MAF anyway Cox genuine part but still faulting and if fault happened again I'd strip it down to check egr valve. Hi i have a 2014 crv that I’m having problems with, about 8 weeks ago I was driving down the moter way, lost power and my filter light and engine management light came on, took it to the Honda garage they replaced the filters and sent me on my way, never even made it home before my engine management light was on again, back into the garage the following day. They put stuff in the tank to clear it, 4 weeks later lights back on, back into garage, they couldn’t find a fault, stuff in tank again, never made it home again without the light coming on, replaced sensors that they thought it could of been, again the light came on after driving about 3 miles, they still can’t …

Advice or wiring diagram for 2015 CRV no side lights (small lights) fed by fuse 34 Can anyone help with a wiring diagram please I'm getting no voltage to my sidelights, i've continuity checked and voltage checked all the fuses i can find even the ones hidden under glove box. Hi folks. I drive motorway miles everyday, Edinburgh to Glasgow. I have eco on all the time and drive at 60 miles an hour. I have a 64 plate 2ltr automatic petrol. This guzzles fuel like it's going out of fashion. Is there anything that can help with consumption.
