Hi Alan I have always used Rock 5w 30w fully synthetic oil in my CRV as its recommended by Honda, If you are unsure as my Honda is a Petrol and I believe your CRV is a Diesel it might be worth giving the Main Honda Dealer a quick call and ask if there is a difference, I really don't know, sorry Alan.

Just purchased my prelude, travelled 2 and a half hours bought it then as I'm going downhill towards a roundabout it cut out,managed to swing it round to a self place, buses and lorries could get past me. Realised as long as I keep the revs up the car is fine so I swung it round and parked it at a McDonald's them collected the next day. Figure it just needs new fuel, spark plugs, alternator and a general service. Hopefully get it 100% in a couple of days. Apart from that it's sound. Look forward to posting more on it soon.

Have discovered it IS available in Sports mode, but NOT if your speed is too low.

In my time there was lots of banter everywhere bit like a carry on filmstless, you gave it and took it. Girls got wolf whistled, bottom pinched, they also got helped on with their coats, car door opened, other doors held open and seats given up on the bus, train etc. You had a bit of fun but also had respect for each other. I can remember only too well the Third One Alan especially from my days in the Navy but too polite to mention it on here for the innocent Members. 😇 Cant recollect the other comments Alan but am sure you had the best time when you were young and things were so much better probably than what is happening today when you could compliment a young Lady for looking nice without being accused of a crime. and you could walk hand in hand with your young Daughter ( Mine is 12 years old ) without being looked at and being thought of as some kind of Pervert, I must admit this attitude from some ignorant people has caused a number of strong comments to the other person and some very heated words from me as her Dad to put them in the picture in no uncertain terms. I've had that happened once or twice. I think it's when the deadlocks get jammed/refuse to unlock. However in my case it has sorted itself out. I have a suspicion that a vertical jolt to the door e.g. when being lifted up or put down on a lift ramp it somehow seems to make it work again temporarily. I tried bashing it from underneath with a hammer and this didn't help. The most common thing that happens frequently to mine is that I have is that the front passenger door doesn't lock automatically with the central locking, but the manual interior locking tab works.

Has to be 'Set' for first use after enabled: icon turns from white to green - after that it takes care of itself.

The Traffic lights, my parents bought them back from a hoilday in Spain or Italy I would have been around 20 ish had them fitted in a Hillman Minx Est, a friend who worked at a garage fitted wired them up.

I did manage to get the door panel off in the end. Waiting for a replacement lock to arrive before smashing off the old one.

Remember the Tiger tails you had hanging out the filler cap - Esso puts a tiger in your tank!! - before that something similar to smurfs promoting 'happy motoring' Shell with the half of a money note - 10/- or £1 that you had to match up Green shield stamps - 30 fold!! save them books...... and what about the go fast pinline that you stuck on your car..... Never drove your car without your coton backed driving gloves and sunglasses on...... and your name and your girlfriends acrossed the top of the windscreen,,,,,,
