    Doesn't sound like a battery problem to Me, assuming You have a second key that You are now using take it to Timpsons and they will produce a generic copy, WAY cheaper than a main dealer!

    Thanks Trevor I did have the fob in my trousers pocket at the time so that is probably what happened. I’ll have to get a wallet like your father in law.
